Blimey, as a self proclaimed scientist is that really all the evidence it takes to prove to you the fact that Ney was in Portugal in 2007. Woman sees a man looking at her strangely in a supermarket and 12 years later recognises his picture in the Sunday Mirror. I couldn’t even recognise the cashier who served me at the Supermarket this weekend.

Maybe if she’d been staring at you intently in a bar a few hours earlier you might have had a better recall of her features?  I mean I can remember the faces of some if the men who chatted me up 30 years ago, and the face of the first boy I ever kissed even though that was 40 years ago and I was in his company for all of 2 hours at a village disco.

Yes, I think it would need something stronger than that to be convincing.
Might be difficult to demonstrate his presence in Portugal if he denies it.
I've never been to Portugal in my life, but would be hard pushed to prove it if someone said they saw me there many years after the event.

Of course it proves nothing, but it may be relevant.  Obviously there is something else to link him to PdL otherwise he would never have been mentioned as a suspect, IMO.

It establishes the possibility... Although I totally agree that identification such as this.... All the sightings of Maddie and of course the Smith sighting tend to be highly unreliable
