I think that is very interesting VS. 

This happened at 8.30pm, which is exactly the time that  Kate and Gerry would be walking in a Southerly direction from their flat to the Tapas restaurant.   This car was driving in a northerly direction along exactly the same road ... and Kate and Gerry would suddenly appear coming in a southerly direction. 

Face to Face.

Another report described how the black saloon car suddenly backed up into a side road and IIRC turned round with haste to go off in the opposite direction.

Could the occupants of this car have been the abductor and his assistant moving into place, but frightened off??

It could easily have been mistaken for black at 8.30 pm.  If it wasn’t his, whose was it?  Did anyone bother to check?
