It wass the identification of the number plate I was querying the significance of.

You queried the significance.  Just as I do.  But unlike you I'm working along the lines of applying Brueckner's role in a box ticking exercise and making comparisons.
Makes for a livelier conversation with other 'know nothing' posters but those who are interested in the nuances of the case made against Brueckner.

Great! You obviously know nothing as neither do I.  But who knows ~ another member might have a clearer idea ~ might be nice to allow them the space to get back at us with it.  Constant negativity must be so boring for you.

The significance of this what ?
It’s significant because it adds to Brückner’s way of operating.

Legally? He was operating legally by going through the administration element of selling a vehicle in Germany. And this on the back of apparently abducting, raping and killing a small child.

It all makes sense now.

But he didn't sell the vehicle or even give it away.  So why bother with the Administration Element.  Unless he had something to hide.

The Jaguar was already registered in Germany, so why change it after some years?

No idea, but are you any the wiser for knowing the registration number ?

I am only interested in why he changed the name of the registered owner from one German National to another, but since it was picked eventually and is now in the hands of The German Authorities, I don't suppose that any significance will have been missed.

I don't know what the diagnostics are regarding Brueckner but his proven record contains examples of psychotic behaviour including the abuse of children.

Were I you I would not glibly dismiss the fact that there are individuals who are perfectly capable of performing the basest of crimes described by you, against children or even geriatric women while presenting a normal persona to everyone else around them.
Rapists and murderers don't have it stamped on their foreheads, they look and behave pretty much like everyone else, that's how they get away with it.

The best that investigators can do is to look for a profile and from my reading of like individuals Brueckner ticks every box and then some on that recognised sheet.  Much as police investigators seem to acknowledge by making him prime suspect in the crimes against Madeleine.

Whatever his reason for changing the name on the documentation I think it was done for short term expediency.

For example, were he to be stopped for any reason the record would show that Brueckner had never been there but the patsy who had allowed his name to be used, had.

He had a reason for coming to that arrangement.  He knows it and probably the police know too.  As for the rest of us we can only wonder except for those among us who appear to have no difficulty creating fantasies where a perfectly legit vehicle is concerned but find Brueckner's actions all present and correct in apparently covering his trail.

Something caused Brueckner to do this.  I don't know what it was, but it sounds like panic to me as an almost immediate afterthought.

The new registered owner would have very quickly been out of any frame as he actually was in Germany.

This was the beginning of the whole thing falling apart as far as I can see.  One small and probably unnecessary mistake.  Unfortunately, The PJ didn't spot any of this, including his Jaguar.  It is only now that it has become relevant by what Brueckner did do.

However, Brueckner did do this and he must have had a reason.  It is logged and on record so cannot be argued otherwise.

I think we need to wait and see if it has any relevance - i.e. if he is charged with anything related to Madeleine.

Indeed we do.  I still haven't thrown my hat into the ring against Brueckner.

Thank you for always remaining relatively pleasant.

I try. 8)-)))  I see no point in getting uptight over things on here or indeed over things in general.
