Go with the flow ~ go with the flow.

Jon Clarke is one source.  I have read others.  As I am sure have you as you do read my posts and I have linked to at least one.  Maybe it has slipped your mind.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Ah! but how does his arguido status work in Germany ?

Perhaps the content of the International Letters of Request might hold a clue to that.

All legal.

All above board.

They've all been working at it for far too long to allow his lawyer to slip through on any technicality ~ so have no fear.

My guess is that Jon Clarke was the source of other articles too.

I haven't seen any German reports saying CB has been questioned.

How extraordinary.

This stage of the investigation has been a long time coming. Perhaps the following analysis from 2020 might help you to catch up with current events.

Analysis
By BBC news correspondent Lucy Williamson, in Praia da Luz

When German police - newcomers to the Madeleine McCann investigation - announced they had evidence that indicated the toddler was dead, it seemed to get a cautious response from their Portuguese and British counterparts.

British police stuck to their line that it was a "missing person inquiry", and the impression from Portuguese media was that their own tight-lipped authorities were staying open-minded.

This first-hand confirmation from a senior Portuguese police source that the German evidence is "very important" and "significant" is a sign of how seriously this new development is being taken there.

There's been plenty of mutual recrimination between the British and Portuguese forces in the 13 years since Madeleine McCann vanished from her family's holiday apartment.

Now a third country has entered the quest for answers.

Awkward? Maybe. But the German evidence, it seems, is convincing enough for the Portuguese police to signal their support.

After living for so long under the pressure of unanswered questions, they won't want to be left out of a development that might promise some answers.

This analysis has progressed two years down the line to the news released world wide  (even in the German press)
that the Portuguese have joined Britain and Germany in making Brueckner their prime suspect.

How time flies.

Snip
A statement was issued on Thursday by the Portimao section of the Faro department of criminal investigation and prosecution which, according to a translation, says that a person was made an “arguido” – which translates as “named suspect” or “formal suspect” – a day earlier.

The statement does not name Brueckner, but says the person was made an “arguido” by German authorities at the request of Portugal’s public prosecution service.

It says the investigation has been carried out with the co-operation of the English and German authorities.

Why would an arguido not be questioned in your view?

G-Unit is simply using media reports (or the apparent lack of them in Germany) to reinforce her beliefs.  It doesn’t really make much sense because she doesn’t appear to accept the validity and truthfulness of msm media reports from any country at any time anyway (unless of course they support her beliefs).

There's no reason why not, but I think the Portuguese would be very careful to do it by the book. That wouldn't include accepting an arguido's lawyer's decision not to attend a potentially incriminating interview. Only CB was entitled to decide if he wanted a lawyer present or not.

I think I'll stick with the BBC;

German authorities informed him he was a suspect, at the request of Portuguese prosecutors in Faro.

So, are you saying that, in your opinion, CB has not been questioned and that Jon Clarke’s article is entirely fabricated?

Trouble is that's the same BBC who covered up for Jimmy Savile for years.

I'm sticking with getting my news from Russia Today.
