If my child's life was in danger I would accept help from Dr Goebbels
... your point ?
I could not agree more. This reminds me of a discussion we had on here a few weeks ago - would you accept a donated organ from a convicted murderer? Like bloody Billy-ho, I would. What's the problem? I've had rheumatoid for 30 years, my hands are f..ked, more Dennis Potter than Harry Potter, and I would take Myra Hindley's transplanted hands in a heartbeat. You can't always get what you want.....So. Make the best of it.
((( shona ))) rheumatoid is such a cruel illness
My mum was a seamstress ( so talented ) ... then came the rheumatoid
The sight of her gentle, dear old hands, made my heart ache
Yes. RA is very cruel, and you cease to be the person that you once were. I'm having Actemra infusions at the moment, a thousand pounds a pop, I feel guilty, I'm not sure I'm worth that much. They don't work, and I'm suffering all the side effects. Itchy rash, chest pains, crushing headaches. But better than when I was having methotrexate. That was when I weed myself in Sainsburys.
