So what’s stopping you?  Get on it now!

I'm far too busy campaigning to free Martin Brueckner right now.

That’s a shame as I’m sure the police would be right round to arrest the McCanns within hours.  Perhaps  Faithlilly can do it instead?

What a load of baloney from start to finish.   This is currently a live police investigation so the McCanns are not in a position to start interfering with it.  And no, the directors do not get paid a salary.
“The majority of the fund money has been and continues to be spent on investigative work to help find Madeleine. Additionally money continues to be spent on the wider 'Awareness Campaign' – reminding people that Madeleine is still missing and to remain vigilant. None of the directors have taken any money from the fund as remuneration”.

Wider ‘Awareness Campaign’? What wider awareness campaign? An amateur website and a free Facebook page that’s almost never posted on. It appears that the circus has moved on but the news hasn’t filtered down to the clowns.

It’s obvious the website hasn’t been updated for years.  Perhaps the McCanns should spend thousands on a marketing team and a spanking new website.  I’m sure you’d thoroughly approve of that.  Lol.

Perhaps a little enthusiastic input from the parents would suffice, instead of the deafening silence we observe.

I must apologise to you VS…I inadvertently misled you. The Facebook page is no longer a thing and as you said the campaign website has not been updated in years. So were is this ‘wider awareness’ campaign that the website talks about?

Further if the parents still think that there is a scintilla of a chance that their daughter is alive then thousands spent on a new website might be money well spent. Hell, if they updated the existing one it would be a start.

The Find Madeleine Facebook Page. Hundreds set up by the general public but I can’t seem to find the official page. Perhaps you can?

What sort of enthusiastic input had you in mind?  You’re missing them aren’t you?  It’s been years since they’ve provided new material for you lot to sharpen your teeth on.  Shame.

Yep it’s still there don’t worry.  Reckon you’ve been blocked after you relentless hounding of the poor person who used to run it.  Never mind, you’re not missing much.

It’s free, course it is.

Hounding? A bit harsh. She did have a bit of a potty mouth though, strange woman.

Poor woman was driven to distraction by malevolent trolls, who can blame her for the odd expletive.  Anyway good on her for getting rid of the troublemakers and making sure they can no longer see the page or spew their bile on it I say.

It's almost as if they don't need or want public donations anymore, but can't actually say it for some reason.

The search is being looked after at the moment.   Better for The Mccanns to leave it to The Professionals since they became involved.   As soon as the family get involved cruel vitriol starts flying from the, sorry to say it, losers.   Losers with nothing but suspicious minds, who are happy to claim the innocent did it, without any PROOF or meaningful FACTS.

The psychological damage that these losers must have done to the twins and parents is immeasurable and will stay with them for the rest of their lives.   You should be ashamed of yourselves.

There are some on here that blatently tell lies and alter facts wholesale.   I believe for them to do that they must be involved in some way, or perhaps potty, or maybe have not read around on different source sites to get the true picture.

The Mccanns  absolute need for search money being gifted is virtually non existent at the moment with The Professionals working on it.   But, of course, that could change at some time im the future

Gen., with your undoubted intellect, I am staggered that you didn't work out the above without my help

I would think the reason is quite possibly this: they have come to terms with the likelihood that she is dead, may even have had sight of the Germans’ evidence by now but can’t yet bring themselves to confront the reality of the situation in a public statement about it.
