I didn't know that his health was failing. I am sorry to hear that and hope he will soon be better.
What old muck being raked up are you on about? I seem to have missed stuff here. Was it when I was in the nursing home for four months
And Tripoli .... completely new to me! Can you, or someone else, fill me in please.
I thought that he was a champion at Quidditch and that's played on broomsticks innit?
Get well soon Myster.
ffs Sadie, I'm not sure where to start. Quidditch isn't a real game and broomsticks can't really fly. The game appears in a book, written by JR Hartley, about a boy wizard called Harry. Although wizards are real, none of them possess mystical powers up to and including levitation.
I'm not really a General (just like I'm not a real welder, to make reference to the punchline of the classic joke), and Myster isn't my dad as far as I am aware. I don't know Myster, we've never conversed, never met, although he / she has my respect as a top contributor to the forum.
I'm just a knobhead from Liverpool and certainly not from wherever it was you said I hailed from.
I have been to Tripoli, which actually is a tale worth telling, but I doubt Myster has - he / she / they might have - but we certainly weren't there together. Myster also appears to be in rude health, given their quality of output here, so I don't think there's any cause to fret.
The icon image I used which contained the word 'KNEEL' was in fact a picture of the comic book supervillain, General Zod, played by the Oscar nominated Terence Stamp in the motion picture Superman (1978). It had no significance other than he was a General, just like Russell Crowe is General Maximus. I thought about using General De Gaull, be he's French, or General Rommel or Goering, but they're nazi German c*&^s.
I have to admit that I've been playing along, but that's just making things worse. I'm going to nip off again soon on another sabbatical, so I thought I'd come clean.
If these revelations come as a shock maybe it's time to take stock of what you believe to be true.
Best Regards,
The General (not a real General).
