Explain why it is more likely.  Explain why it is so unlikely that a known paedophile living in the area and familiar with the layout of the OC would be able to enter an unlocked groundfloor apartment and remove a 3 year old child, put her in a vehicle and drive off into the boondocks and have his wicked way with her, then bury her body in the middle of nowhere afterwards.  Why do you think this is so incredibly unlikely that you think a road traffic accident is waaaaay more plausible?
The dogs, Helen. Like the ones you believe reliably followed Maddie's scent to the car park.

Yeh, you conveneintly skirted around the issue;

- Scoping, lurking, waiting for (an apparent) window of opportunity, open blinds and window without damaging either, climbing in through said window leaving no trace, scooping up (probably awake / crying as usual) child, making good escape in conspicuous Winnebago / van, not get caught - several minutes.

- Knocking a kid over and sticking it in the boot - 1 minute

...and you're concerned with the timeframe of a hit and run?

He'd been watching 5a.  He knew their routine.  There was a bit of a hiccup when Matt listened outside the window and the abductor thought that was a check and that he had 30 mins to take Madeleine.  I don't think he came in through the window.  I believe he either picked the lock or had a key.  If you remember holiday makers had a problem with the locks. One said he put a key in the lock so that the cleaner couldn't get in with her key yet she still got in.  Those locks were dodgy.  He had to hide or leave when Gerry surprised him so he either opened the window incase someone else came along or to speak to his partner.   He said she didn't scream.  He used Ether to sedate her.  Powder which the believe was Ether was found in his lair.

Mentioning the name !!    Is that meant to be a threat?

At this stage, I will mention that I have no idea what her/his name is, altho I think I knew it at one time years ago.

You have mentioned names before and it is NOT ON, I know your name and your fathers, but apart from an odd letter I have never mentioned them.    I am very tempted cos they would send shock waves through forum land.

..... and whilst I am on, neither is the foul language ON that you think is fun to use.  I have been brought up well and don't like it.   I feel sure that there are others like me, but don't like to complain.

Reliable dogs now, because it suits your narrative. Flip flop.
Nope, I did not say “reliable dogs”, I was replying to John who used these particular dogs to suggest his theory was correct and I was merely pointing out that they didn’t really do that.

Pathetic response as predicted. And can we quit with the name guessing, it’s really silly.

For the dogs to be right Madeleine must have been dead before the McCanns left for dinner.  Now you tell us what you think actually happened to fit the dog alerts.  I’m looking forward to hearing it….(waits in vain for anything remotely resembling a serious answer).

All of that takes more time than running achild over and sticking her in the boot. Much more time. You seem to be missing the point, or avoiding it because you don't like the logic.
Ether? He's a Victorian scoundrel doctor now? He struggled to obtain diesel legally or otherwise, ffs, never mind a Victorian potion.

Didn’t the dogs follow her scent to a carpark?  That indicates that she was taken on foot to a parked car and driven off to me.

You're admitting the efficacy of the use of dogs.

Sadie, dear, and I know that's not your real name, but a mere nom de plume constructed for the purposes of throwing 'The Syndicate' off your scent.
The 3rd Earl Lord Asquith has minions monitoring this forum, so it would be wise to keep your counsel.
Mention my name and Sir Simon will be instructed to implement Operation Ocelot, and absolutely no good can come from that.

Tits. How's that for language?

Edit: BTW, yes, it's a threat. Helga knows. It says 'back off, you're too close to the truth, just back off'.

There's nothing to admit.  Tracker dogs track scents. The alerts John referenced may or may not be relevant.  They didn't sniff out Madeleine so their efforts were in vain and we'll never know if they were on the right track or not.  What they didn't do was prove that Madeleine left the apartment of her own accord and got run over by a crazed German woman, any more than the alerts in the apartment prove that Madeleine died at the hands of her crazed parent(s) before Tapas time.

Out of interest, juxst how long does it take to hatch a plan with 7 of your mates to cover up the death of your own kid that you've just discovered dead in front of the sofa and plan it so brilliantly that 18 years later millions of clever people like you on the internet still can't figure out exactly how you got away with it?  Talk about Crime of the Century, more like Crime of the Millenium!

Dunno I was busy bombing long-held beliefs out of the water. You both got torpedoed this afternoon.
You finally admitting that dogs are reliable and thingy realising that, by proferring a timescale to run a child over and dispose of said child, she closed the window and shutter on the abduction theory.

Easy afternoon's work.

Crime of the Century and Crime of the Millenium are essentially the same thing until the current millenium has elapsed.

We've been down this road. It's impossible, or at least extremely difficult, to nail down a timeline due to the disceprancies in the evidence and the witness statements. It might be a first.
To take Gerry and Kates' statements as true means you have to throw out all statements that contradict them; and vice versa. Then there's the kids club records (which I think were hastily scribbled by staff to cover up the fact that they hadn't been doing it properly) - they're almost useless.
The CCTV is almost non-existent. The paucity of photographs despite cameras being in use.

That said, you're right, the dogs alerted to cadaver odour / blood of someone in the apartment and on belongings of the McCanns. So somebody was lying there dead for a prolonged period.
How many people pre-2007 knew about cadaverine production? Not many laypersons I'd wager. It's possible the McCanns realised the issue, but realised too late.

Once again I did not say the dogs were reliable, you know I didn’t say the dogs were reliable and yet you continue to say that I did.  I think that’s called gaslighting (or perhaps just being a tit).
