Hi, I am a retired Probation Officer and now a part time educator in a local prison. Views expressed on this platform are my own, most of my comments will reflect how disillusioned I have become with the state of our judiciary, police, courts and prisons. However, I still accept that our system is not perfect, but it is the only one we have and arguably still the best in the world. Dad of three, grandfather of six I am both skint and tired. Intolerant of misguided, uneducated fools I still have the intellectual capacity to stand my ground and as an ex-professional rugby player I also retain the right to retaliate first.
