To be honest Neeley you haven't made any attempt to debate these issues tonight and have put down any posters who have attempted to do so.  I am still waiting on your explanation as to why the trail went cold at the lamp post since it is your opinion that everyone else is wrong.  Maybe you will oblige us with an answer if you have one?

If you read her parents' statements, Icabodcrane, you'll see that, on the 3rd of May, Madeleine probably went out and in four times through the patio doors. The first dog (Numi) was taken inside (4th of May, around 2am) and went close to the patio door that, unfortunately no one opened for him.
The route followed by the 3 dogs is well protected (walls), as the handler explained, alive scent could have been kept there for 2/3 days.
Isn't it curious that Madeleine was carried last time she went in the flat and last time she went out of the flat ?

From memory, on Tuesday, 1 May 2007, being shown by RUSSELL, he went to pick up MADELEINE at creche using a short-cut that began at the car park opposite the secondary reception and went between the buildings, which he used to fetch and carry his daughter.

Anyone know where this secondary reception is? Is it inside the Tapas Restaraunt, which was opposite a car park? if so, that could explain the scent being there.Presumably, since then, the short cut was used.

Again, from the same statement, Gerry Mccann describes the route the children took when they ran off, identical to the trail the dogs followed.

That, between Monday and Wednesday, not knowing the precise date, when they left the residence by the main door, to place the children in the respective creches, MADELEINE left [went] running to the left to the extreme opposite of the residential blocks where they were lodged, playing with the twins. That they had gone down to the furthest point away from those blocks, not knowing exactly how, the three children got into the gardens at the rear [of the blocks]. Then they followed the inside corridor [pathway] at the rear, next to the hedges [fences] up to the street that led to the secondary reception.

Thank you Anne. So it is possible that the tracker dogs picked up Madeleine's scent from her normal daily movements in that area. That is what I was trying to understand.

Thank you Anne. So it is possible that the tracker dogs picked up Madeleine's scent from her normal daily movements in that area. That is what I was trying to understand.

The tracker dogs picked up the scent on Francisco Gentil Martins likely where Madeleine, on the 3rd, had passed 4 times. But they stopped at the lamp post which is more or less the start of the short cut. However one of the dogs, Rex, likely picked up the last of the 4 times : after losing the trail near the lamp post he crossed again FGM, this time towards the secondary reception (Madeleine must have done that when she came back from the creche to have her high tea near the pook). Unfortunately the door was closed and nobody was asked to open it. We could have followed her trail ! A pity !
