An Example of A [ censored word ] turned Defender of Privacy
« on: April 20, 2013, 01:49:24 PM »
Way back in the mists of time in August 2007 at the start of the Madeleine roller coaster, a particular poster had taken part in trying to get a woman who was office manager with a firm of solicitors sacked for writing a Pro-Mccann blog. This was determined to be made on her office laptop as she posted it in Microsoft Word form and did not hide its meta-information. She continually phoned the solicitors demanding that the woman be sacked (despite the fact that she was on maternity leave at the time.)

Now this [ censored word ] had previously published a letter that she had received from her MP which replied to her demand that thje Government charge the McCanns (the usual f..k-off green ink response letter). She posted a copy of this online with her address inadequately scored out. As it was from my home town, I could decipher exactly what her address was.

I e-mailed this to her along with other linked information available on the internet. I sent it to no-one else except her, but let her know that her ID was easily discovered.

Overnight she became a demander of privacy rights and she disappeared from the Mccann scene..

I suspect the same would be true for most of the [ censored word ]s here.

You have been told time and again by Admin that tittle tattle and petty squabbles from other forums is not welcome here

Why do you persist

It brings nothing to the debate

This isn't a dispute brought from another forum, merely that is the background to what would appear to have been a personal interaction between debunker and this other person.

As for it being relevant to this forum, I believe it is.

It demonstrates perfectly the very cowardice which Kate McCann referred to on television only this week. Easy to hound when anonymous. Less so when your identity is known. There are a few exceptions who care nothing for personal reputation but they are not common.

There is a great deal of cowardice shown among anti McCann posters. The above is one example, the behaviour of Hideho in running away when challenged is another and the behaviour of you and others in running from debate about the effect of your own hounding behaviour on the innocent offspring of the Tapas group is another.

Excellent. So if you truly believe Madeleine was abducted stand up and be counted and post your real name. Or are you another one of those apologists who call people who doubt the McCanns names for wishing to remain anonymous yet crawl back under the nearest stone when asked to reveal your own identity ?

But I am hounding no-one. I am simply pointing out the discrepancies and the lack of evidence which lies behind the cowardly hounding of other people.

It is the hounders, those who post abuse about others who are the ones in the wrong.

It is quite amazing that you cannot see that simple fact.

And where did I ever say that I believe Madeleine was abducted? How can anyone know what happened that night. If after a whole police force couldn't work it out I am pretty certain that amateur sleuthing on the internet certainly won't solve it.

There is nothing wrong with asking open questions and debating if people place the evidence of their claims in the arena. But those who hide behind anonymity to post libelous allegations with no evidence for those claims are just nasty little cowards.

I'll post mine if you post yours.  But then you probably know mine already.  It's been bandied about enough.
This did not frighten me because I'm not hounding anyone either.

Persecutors of the McCanns feel "hounded".

I dare say the wilting petal "Blossom" will be along to accuse Gilet of "lying" in a bit.

By the way, what's your real name, Faith?

You believe the McCanns are innocent. Why are you so scared to put your name to your belief ?

Ah honestbroker, you seem keen on 'outing' people.

How would you like it if done to you, as you hide behind several online names ?

And another pointless point on a pointless thread, which has nothing at all to do with the facts of the disappearance of Madeleine Mccann, which this board is supposed to be about, but, regardless, 50% of the threads here are just that irrelevant, semi propagandaish, abusive, fill in the rest, ai wojder why mods allow them here at all as fhey contravene their t and cs
