Six years ago tomorrow a young British girl, Madeleine McCann disappeared without trace from apartment 5A, The Ocean Club, Praia da Luz.


Not one person here, irregardles of how they put their point across can prove exactly what happened 6 years ago tomorrow evening !
We are all entitled to our opinion and we are all entitled to express that opinion as long as we do not slander or suggest wrongdoing on behalf of the principle persons in this sad case.

Mature and logical discussion / debate is always welcome and enlightening, it is a shame when that mature debate descends into petty name calling and personal insults.

I am aware that there are so called Pro & Anti fora that trawl the dregs of perceived righteousness, I prefer to liken them to sad lifeless souls who have no interests in their lives other than to sit at a keyboard hurling insults, threats and childish name calling across the battlefields, these individuals are so called adults !

Sadly there are some of their ilk amongst us here on this forum who go scuttling back to their respective cess pits looking for plaudits and adulation from their peers for disrupting debate.

I as a member of this forum can categorically state that I am not a member of any pro or anti site, and that this is the only forum on which I discuss this case.

I have followed this case for many years.
Indeed  I have posted on fora about this case.
Some folks on here post with different names . Why I don't know.
What I do know is I can, within a day or so, recognise members posting styles and therefore identify them.


You , IMO, are not new to posting about this case.

I notice that there is no claim not to have posted before elsewhere. Merely a claim not to be doing so currently. Interesting!

Hi Icabod, I was outside the police station in Portimao when Kate arrived the second time, there was a lot of unpleasant hecklin and name calling which the TV crews didn't pick up on, I personally found it a very intimidating atmosphere and I was only a bystander.

The reality is that the identity of the poster is irrelevant unless they deliberately lie about their posting history because such lying would make it very difficult not to treat the content of all their posts with suspicion.

If there is no suspicion (or evidence) of lying about the past on the part of the poster then the content of the post is the only thing that matters.

Whether I discuss what I post here with my children, uncles, aunts, godchild or mother or with the local police or with members of other forums is frankly none of your business.

It is the content of my posts which matters.

The fact is that whatever people say in these matters is impossible to verify. Your question is pointless. I have no idea whether you post under other names on pro or anti forums, no matter what you tell us.

Such questioning of posters is simply a waste of time.

I can tell you that I do post or that I don't post elsewhere. What difference would that make? You don't know if it is true or not do you?

Well, Icabodcrane, I'm surprised some here who will know I'm thinking of them are hostile, not to say uncouth ! Life is nicer when people are gentle. What are we doing here ? Just arguing ! Nobody will suffer from this, luckily. It will affect no one, change the destiny of no one.
I post sometimes on another forum where most suspect me to be "pro", possibly because I once said Mrs McCann was a beautiful woman ! One admin picks on me every time I post. She might be ugly, who knows ;) Fortunately another admin knows I'm neither the pro nor the anti type, rather a sceptic as some call it here.
My agenda is to understand. Nothing else.

Am I not right in thinking that you claimed on this forum not to post elsewhere? That you did not use twitter or know others on other McCann forums? That you went to great lengths to suggest that the other person using exactly the same name as you was not you?

I believe I can find that post if you are finding it hard to recall having posted that.

Now, you seem to be claiming that you do know others on other forums and do post about the McCanns elsewhere?

As I said it is only when people post lies on this forum about their posting history that I am interested in such history, not because of the actual posting history, but because of the way such lies reflect on the content of what that poster posts in general.

Why did you say that you don't use twitter or FB and don't know other pro or anti McCann sites?
