Why are you resorting to abuse again? Are you playing a game of disruption?

Are you going to explain why you think that Scotland Yard should have used the translations of potential suspects as you claimed they should have or are you going to play this silly game of abuse.

Your position that Scotland Yard should have used such translations when at the time the people who had commissioned them were potential suspects is totally flawed or can you explain it?

Only now when the McCanns have been shown by SY not to be suspects would the translations be of use to SY but it is too late now.

People should remember that the Police, NHS and Social Services do not always use public numbers to access their translation services. They have direct numbers to the companies providing the services.

You may have a very long while to wait for "an interpret" as no such thing exists.

I hope you are also prepared to pay a hefty sum for any translation/interpretation you may desire as these things don't come cheap.

I am sure they won't employ people who cannot use English properly so I am presuming you are asking to use their services not to be employed by them.

No. They only asked my contact and my name. There are 4 modalities, I chose the Ad-hoc Interpreting. I'm very curious. But anyhow I intend to e-mail those firms and know about the costs, the swiftness and I might experiment just to have an idea of the quality.
I might also, if I find a phone nb, call at midnight and see.

We will appreciate full reports on these rather odd phone calls you are making.

But your contacts will not replicate the direct contact that UK authorities have with these companies.

Nor will your attempt to detract from this thread topic in this rather silly way deflect from the fact that for the PJ to use unqualified translators for witness statements is simply not professional and for the PJ to allow people like Silvia Batista to intrude on crime scenes or have any input into detective work is totally incompetent.
