no it wasn't moral it was stupid but im sure the mccanns have suffered enough abuse on that..the mccanns and friends were doing just the same as a listening service does all over the world in holiday resorts.

Unfortunately, physical threats and abuse have emanated from extremists on both sides of the fence, and from whatever source should be criticized without question, and without partisanship.

I am certain, Stephen that you are not suggesting that those who don't abuse the Mccanns have threatened them with violence.

However, I don't recall any threats of violence to anyone, by anyone (Mike Hardy being the exception and the victim was supportive if the Mccanns), except threats to the Mccanns.

No, I've made myself quite clear.

There have been threats from both sides of the fence.

The 'battleground', and I use that word advisedly is largely on twitter, which I visit from time to time.

i think threats of violence on any side is  wrong i have had them myself  and the mcanns should not have them either
