I must contact Full Sutton this week and set the ball a rolling.
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.

JB's birth parents, Major Leslie Marsham and Juliet Marsham, at a charity event held at Duke of York Sq, Sloane Sq, London during March  2014.  (Photo in public domain).

Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

Good to have you back Holly, hope you had a good holiday?  An excellent photo by the way, Jeremy is so alike his natural parents.  I sometimes wonder had he not been adopted would things have turned out so very differently for so many people.

Thanks for posting a picture of Jeremy´s birth parents, Holly! First time I see his mother. Have they really NEVER had contact with him? How can you have a child and then just abandon it? It isn´t exactly a mitigating factor that they seem to be well functioning people who have done well for themselves.
I know I would be in touch if it were my child, no matter WHAT!
Hasn´t it dawned on them that there was something seriously wrong with the family they left their baby boy with? That would be my assessment if one adopted child turned out seriously mentally ill and the other a mass murderer + the adoptive mother having heavy mental issues.

It must be totally weird for the Marsham's to know their offspring is one of the most cold bloodied killers in history.  I wonder how closely they have followed the case.

Hi and thank you John.

Yes it's very poignant to think of what was/is for all concerned, including the victims of WHF, and what might have been.

I hope posters don't think I am a little...well er odd posting about the birth families but I do think it is interesting and relevant to a point.  And given programmes like 'Long Lost Family' and Who Do You Think You Are?' it appears I'm not alone  &%+((£

I have recently come across some photos and other info re JB's birth siblings and SC's half-brother but on reflection I don't think it is appropriate to post this on a public forum.  Albeit the info is in the public domain it would be me connecting the dots so to speak.

I will say though that SC has a half brother who is a Major in the Canadian military.  He has served in Sudan and more recently Afghanistan.

Other info of interest is that prior to NB and June adopting SC, SC spent some 2/3 months at Sunnyside nursery in Box, Wiltshire.  Sunnyside appears to have subsequently been the subject of an investigation of sorts into child abuse:

I have also found a number of books written by SC's birth maternal grandfather, Eric G Jay former Canon at Canterbury and Emeritus Professor of Theology at McGill University in Toronto)  with titles such as 'The existence of God'  &%+((£

Wow heavy stuff!

Here's a pic, albeit a little one, of SC's birth mother:

WOW, Holly  *&(+(+
Very impressive detective work!
Interesting info. Seems like both Sheila and Jeremy came from highly accomplished famlies, and their biological siblings are doing well for themselves - NOT going to say anything more, read between the lines!  8(0(*
I wonder if their siblings have some sort of "survivor´s guilt, perhaps especially Jeremy´s siblings, since their parents married a year after Jeremy was born and have stayed together ever since.

I second that  8((()*/  some great research Holly.  I don't have any objection to this information being posted as long as names are withheld as you have already done.  Has SC any other half brothers or half sisters per chance?

So far my enquiries have only revealed what I have posted above.  I do know that SC's birth mother went on to marry (I don't think SC's birth father) and they have three children together and five grandchildren.

I am keen to identify SC's birth father and all half-siblings in an attempt to determine whether SC's mental illness was genetic or a result of her upbringing.  If I'm successful I will post non-identifying info.

Aren't most mental issues a matter of genetics?

I don´t know, but I do know that sometimes family members "carry" a mental illness for other members of family. For instance a wife showing symptoms of mental illness, but when thoroughly examined, it turns out that there is nothing wrong with her - and when husband is examined, he turns out to have that illness the wife showed symptoms of. They are not genetically related. This is an example from my sister´s parents in law.
It is complex!

I don't think so, no.

I firmly believe that SC's mental illness was rooted in her early POOR relationships with primary caregivers which gave rise to a 'disorganised attachment' and other mental illness.  This is pretty much the basis for my believing JB is the victim of a MoJ so I SINCERELY hope I am right!  My explanation:

http://miscarriageofjustice.co/index.php?topic=4513.msg163034#msg163034

Rufus May, a clinical psychologist, was diagnosed as a schizophrenic and he seems to be of the opinion that his mental illness was environmental rather than genetic.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rufus_May

http://www.rufusmay.com/

The following is an interview by Prof Jim Al-Khalili (President of British Humanist Society  8@??)( 8((()*/) and Sir Robin Murray, Scottish Psychiatrist, re mental illness/schizophrenia.  It also features Rufus May at 24.30 in:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01bwmvt

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robin_Murray

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Al-Khalili

I wonder if Stefan Kiszko would have been diagnosed with schizophrenia during his incarceration had he not suffered one of the worst MoJ in British criminal history?  Plse see 'Life inside':

Abs I think the above is pretty much what CC said in his book ie that SC took on the dysfunction of the whole family.  To my mind June's mental illness circa 1959 is key to the WHF murders.  Adoption is not for everyone and perhaps June needed to grieve her losses ie not having birth children and invest in her nieces and nephews instead.  I don't think anyone could deny that June was a good and decent person however from what I have read she was not a natural adoptive mother.  A) She suffered severe mental illness as a result of adopting SC B) she employed au pairs/nannies to assist with childcare C) SC and JB were sent away to boarding school at 8 yoa D) June asked AE if she could teach SC to cook and find her some chores (AE's wit stat).  Why bother adopting?

I created this thread re whether SC should have been removed from the Bambers' care:

http://miscarriageofjustice.co/index.php?topic=3860.msg144564#msg144564

Here's a case where at least the adoptive mother realised adoption was not for her and did the unselfish thing:
