The surname Kiomall is certainly unique to Malta and the Maltese and he claimed to have a Maltese mum.

What I don't understand however Alice is that the name Roderick McDonald is supposed to be the fake name and Roderick Robinson his birth name.  Can anyone unravel this?

I believe that the real Roderick MacDonald of Aldershot is the one now living in California. His F/B history shows he was in the Forces, although the dates don't seem to be quite right. It's possible they may have served together/ the paedophile stole documents from him in the past, as they are both well-travelled.

The story about Len King has been pulled, as it was from the DMail last night, not sure why.

When he disappeared in 2010 from UK, he got a ferry to spain, with I assume the motorhome that he bought in Brighton. There has been a lot of police time put into catching this man.

A man suspected of child abuse in Australia and New Zealand has been traced from CCTV images in Sussex.
Roderick Robinson, 72, is charged with sex offences in Australia and New Zealand but failed to answer bail and returned to England in November.
His motorhome was seen on CCTV in Brighton, before he caught a ferry from Portsmouth to Spain.
Mr Robinson was finally arrested in Portugal. He is now in Australia where he faces trial.
'Brighton connection'
He is accused of attacking a nine-year-old girl in Sydney in 1999.
He has also been charged with child sex offences in New Zealand.
Det Ch Insp John Geden, of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre, said: "We identified that there was a connection to the Brighton area so we visited Sussex Police and they were able to trawl through their CCTV images.
"The breakthrough came really when they found an image of the motorhome that we believed, and intelligence told us, that Mr Robinson purchased."

Great work Anna.  Stolen identity could well be the case.  Something else, MacDonald is referred to as a former oil rig worker in some press reports.

So sad too, he lost both parents at the age of barely two years.
