A quick flip through the first six pages of this thread would indicate it went a little beyond highlighting her journalistic credentials. But then if you have the attention span of a goldfish it is I suppose easy to forget what has been written.

if I was going to make a personal attack on poulton I would mention her battle with mental illness and her two failed suicide attempts but I prefer to keep my criticism relevant to her professional life

Correct.  If one wanted to make personal attacks on the woman, she has "overshared" in the MSM to such a great extent that there is a wealth of material to choose from - but let's not go there and give the "sceptics" another thing to get on their high horses over.

Sonia Poulton has never made it a secret that she suffers from OCD which developed following her experiences as a young child in the lead up to her mothers premature death.

Has this some relevance to the promised documentary per chance?

eta  I doubt very much if Sonia Poulton knows the untold story about Madeleine.

Mental conditions are every bit as debilitating as physical ones are and Ms Poulson ... rightly IMO ... tells it as it is.  There is absolutely nothing shameful about it.

I wish posters were as sensitive about the feelings of the McCann family as they are about imagined slurs at a woman strong enough to publish the details of her condition.
