Did anyone catch what Sonia Poulson had to say about internet trolls on Sky today?
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

I didn't know that she was on SKY today. Did you see it?

I've just watched it on the Sky app Anna although I don't know if it was the full interview. She Basically said that she had been harassed sand physically threatened and that although the abuse had started on Twitter it soon spread to both her email account and her mobile phone.

Sky does seem to be using Sonia a lot lately in connection to issues surrounding Twitter abuse.  I wonder if they're showing an interest in her upcoming documentary too ?

Brietta posted on 10/04/2022 “But whether or not that is the reason behind the delay I am certain that Brueckner's trial is going to take place.”

Let’s count the months, shall we?

Thank you Faith,
So the same of the same then. Yes it does seem that Sky are using her a bit. We'll see soon, no doubt.

Just getting it second hand ... I think she was on Sky News discussing Twitter Trolls ... wonder why her name came to mind for Sky?

I'm not all that sure that I haven't been hitting the nail on the head in thinking her documentary may actually contain material which will be a bit of a surprise for her audience ... maybe even shock as far as those who have willingly collaborated in her "research" are concerned.

This is one lady who will not spurn the Murdoch shilling.

We could all be in for a big surprise then.

If they want to do more features on 'trolls' of any persuasion (which they will sooner or later) they really don't need to make Sonia an offer she can't refuse anyway.

All the text is in the public domain. Why would they need her?

They're not in the business of doing serious, accurate reporting. Sensationalism is what they want, and preferably sensation that only requires minimum research (like them selecting BL).

LOL ... you think she doesn't have "exclusive" freely offered footage in her repertoire ... and she had no compunction in seeking out a 'volunteer' to be thrown to a Sun journalist with great effect.

She has been accused of being commissioned to do this documentary ... if so, whoever commissioned her may well be putting a programme together even as we speak.

She is after all seeking the cachet of 'investigative' journalist ... and although a huge critic of Sky in the aftermath of Brenda Leyland's death and publicising her 'avenging' documentary ... she does appear to be rather a darling of Sky at the moment.

IMO she is a prime example of an opportunist ... and this is an opportunity.

I can't deny it's an opportunity, but there are far better out there if someone with a pot of cash wanted to make that kind of film. Why would they ask her? She's about as undercover as Ross Kemp visiting a war zone in a clown's outfit.

I can't deny it would be a brilliant plan though, but highly unlikely.

I don't know what the point of the Sun interview was, but imo it was more a Homer Simpson moment than part of any grand strategy.

She has made it clear that her film will at least in part be about 'trolls', but those it's perceived were targetting BL.

But after the Sun article she may well now be wondering how on earth you can discuss one set of 'trolls' without mentioning others.

She probably does want to make a film that will appear competent and credible to mainstream media, even if it's not going to be shown on it.

Don't forget Brietta if the inquest hadn't been adjourned the film would probably have been finished and shown already. As it is it will be six months or so after the first announcement before it's seen. Online peeps being what they are that's more than enough time for many of them to imagine or invent intrigue and fall out with each other (especially in discussion of this case), but the delay is because of the adjournment not deliberate.

Without the adjournment there wouldn't be so much speculation about what SP's up to.

Does anyone think Sky would commission a video that would be critical of Blunt

James Blunt? 8(0(*

If Sonia really is stitching up "sceptic" trolls I really wouldn't want to be in her shoes when the shit hits the fan...

I tell you what has happened.

My hotmail account was mysteriously hacked, then given back to me with all my emails intacked.

If any emails have been sent in my name from that account to Sonia Poulton, they weren't sent by me ...
