Yes you are right It went wrong when the family call 911, His three page note work hard to convince the family not to call any one because he and Jonbenet was in the house, basement for this crime to work. He travels on foot, bikes and bus. JonBenet was never to leave the house and the note let the family know she was taken so no need to look in the basement.

Simply plan but the 911 call stop the crime. He was very mad and did what he printed in the note, kill JB. on his way out to the dark alley way.

The profile predict he had a back pack. Most common with people on foot and Boulder, this will fit in very well. The trials are just down the street. If the call would have came in that day, John would have been tired as stated in the note. Trails.

At around 10:00 am a call came in to the home, John pick up the phone and on one said any thinks and hung up. As the police and people talk, the note said do not talk to any one but this person could hear many.

Our profile information predict the killer left right after he killed JB because they call 911.

The pineapple was said to match this time in JB after death.

The killer was in the house for many hours. Looking around the house. The single lamp post by the sun room was disabled that Christmas night and this would darken the in side of the sun room from view from the neighbors. This has a service door that exit to the side yard and would be a good place to print the ransom note and monitor the house before the family came home. JonBenet was found under this room in the basement. Right under the chair in the sun room.

One item the killer place is a clue in the crime.

Now, any items that have not been tested can be tested for fingerprints that has change the compound lineup of paper.

Touch DNA only need 8 to 10 skin cell to produce a full profile. Cloth items can work well.

The investigation is only as good as the people be hind it. Boulder place their thought with the family. Overlooking other importance items and people.

Men and woman use different work in their writing. We can tell a lot about some by how and what the write a say it. We write with our brain and not with our hands, the hands are a extensions of our brain. So the ransom note has shown us a lot about the writer.

His choice of pen was a Sharpie marker, Harder to use but easy with fingerless gloves.
The sharpie marker is 5 inches long and fit the killer hand well. This is his tool of the trade, He use this marker a lot. Note: The paint stick used to kill JB was broken to the same size of 5 inches.

The marker was out of production for many years abut was in like new shape, TIP.
This special water base ink is commonly used by artist as it safe for paper for a very long time. If left in the house, the ink could be trace to this water base out of production marker, framing the family.

The writer od the note uses word as a female. 1007 points on the scale. Male score 430.
The DNA left was from a male, write as a female and may have the state of MS. The print line quality show this. Heat and stress with state MS in mails at the age of 30 years old.

The basement had many rooms. All had door to each room. In the basement North/West corner was a storage room that had two old basement opening when the 1930s house was built and the outside grade was lower. The house had been added to e back and side so the
two windows were cover over on out size surface. One window was used as a laundry chute that goes next to JonBenet bedroom and to the third floor od the parents. These oversize door were not sound tite and can be easily use to here sounds and voices from basement, people did do this there.

The other basement window was on the North wall and was cover over with the Butler kitchen back splash. In this area was electoral boxes that are not sound tite and this window was use before to monitor the family talking from the basement by others years before this crime.
This window was found open and had a small chair place right under the open window. Left open the closet door could not be open next to this window.

The killer could monitor the family and the house in this room and not be seen.

Next to this was a basement phone to many a call at 8 to 10 am. He could use the phone service man auto call back number added to the Ramsey phone number to place a call to the home from the basement It rings in till some one picks up the phone, this is use to test the phone lines by service man.

The two whit blankets were in the dryer next to this room and was found place over JB in the wine cellar. static electricity may had stuck the pink Barbie doll night gown to the blankets.

There was a red blood stain the match JB on it. Was it used by the killer that night?

I ask John if that was her marker, he said how did they come up with that idea, The family keep pens in a orange can under the phone in the kitchen on the counter by the back door and window for all to see. I ask him if her name was on that marker ID ing it as her's and he said no. The marker was older that when they move to Boulder and did not think it was theirs.

The profile predict the killer plan this crime. This mean he was near or at the Ramsey house before. If so, then where could one monitor the family habits to plan this crime.

Case facts:

The back stairs were at the end of the hall way and the killer place the three page note on the bottom steps. This was a area that was used by the family to place items the night before so when they leave for travel they don't want to forget it, common knowage by many about the used of this area. Importance: The back stairs can be view from the back door and side yard.

Monitor the family in the house at night before the crime.
All windows and doors can be seen from the side yard that goes to each family member bedroom.

JonBenet bed room was on the second floor next to the back side door we have been talking about. A perfit view into her room can be seen from this side yard.

The son and parents room and be seen here as well. Monitor the family and house.

The Ramsey yard had pine trees and wood fences. The garage and drive way is located on the back of the lot that goes to a 15 foot wide alleyway. No street lights Very dark.

The habits of the family could be monitored form the perfit stop and not be seen to pre plan this crime. Location of interest is the South West property corner and the view form this location.

This was Boulder Police mistake in the case to assign items that are use by the family and friends and can be seen from the side yard as Pasty own items, so she must have did it.

We here don't under stand Boulder Police thinking. That why this has been a cold case in till now.

Many think JonBenet was Stun Gun many time before she died. If the killer used a 50,000 volt stun gun and left burn marks as shown in the crime scene photos, then we need to add this to the answers.

The temperature of the wine cellar floor was colder that the first floor.
The concrete floor in the room was not headed. Cold.

Background information:

Rigor mortis is very important in meat technology. The onset of rigor mortis and its resolution partially determines the tenderness of meat. If the postslaughter meat is immediately chilled to 15°C (59°F), a phenomenon known as cold shortening occurs, where the muscle sarcomeres shrink to a third of their original length.

Cold shortening is caused by the release of stored calcium ions from the sarcoplasmic reticulum of muscle fibers in response to the cold stimulus. The calcium ions trigger powerful muscle contraction aided by ATP molecules. To prevent cold shortening, a process known as electrical stimulation is carried out, especially in beef carcasses, immediately after slaughter and skinning. In this process, the carcass is stimulated with alternating current, causing it to contract and relax, which depletes the ATP reserve from the carcass and prevents cold shortening.[

Rigor Mortis, a stiffening of the muscles, usually starts to take place at around 3 hours after someone is dead with full rigor occurring at about 12 hours after death. After the 12 hour mark the rigor slowly ceases and at around 72 hours rigor disappears.

If the killer killed JonBenet at 6:00 am leaving her on the cold concrete floor. That is Seven hours.

Now at 1:05 pm John finds JonBenet and take her upstairs to the heated first floor and then is pickup and mover again to the heated living room near the Christmas tree. She was then cover with a rug and tee shirt.

Many hours went by and around 10:00 pm the coroner take a quick temperature of the body and notes it in the file.

Rigor mortis can be used to help estimate time of death. The onset of rigor mortis may range from 10 minutes to several hours, depending on factors including temperature (rapid cooling of a body can inhibit rigor mortis, but it occurs upon thawing). Maximum stiffness is reached around 12-24 hours post mortem. Facial muscles are affected first, with the rigor then spreading to other parts of the body.

This mean jonBenet could have been killed at 6:00 am. and as early as 10:00 pm on the 25th.

Also Rigor mortis begins within two to six hours of death, starting with the eyelids, neck, and jaw. This sequence may be due to the difference in lactic acid levels among different muscles, which corresponds to the difference in glycogen levels and to the different types of muscle fibers. Over the next four to six hours, rigor mortis spreads to the other muscles, including those in the internal organs such as the heart.

The onset of rigor mortis is more rapid if the environment is cold and if the decedent had performed hard physical work just before death. Its onset also varies with the individual's age, sex, physical condition, and muscular build.

This is very importance:

If JonBenet was killed at 6:00 am and the official temperature was quickly taken by the Coroner at around 10:00 pm that late night. That is SIXTEEN HOURS she had been dead at the time of the testing.

In cases of drowning in cold water, for example, rigor may not appear until the body has been removed from the water, even after several days of immersion. The onset of rigor is hastened if there has been intense physical activity shortly before death. Thus, in forensic medical practice, the presence of rigor is a poor determinant of the time of death. Once established, the duration of rigor ranges from 18 to 36 hours.

The write/killer want to take control
The ransom note stated many time that JonBenet may be killed

The ransom note instruction put John in position 50/50 % that he would call 911
John new by the ransom note that a call will be place between 8 and 10 am to receive instruction on when to take the money by his self and no backup for his safety. Most people would not want to put them self in arm way. Two of more people could die. If the transfer went bad, John would be blame for not doing the right thing and call police.

John and Patsy Ramsey did the right things and the case files shows this.

What we don't know is part two of the killer's plan.
The Ransom Note drop off.

The killer may have killed John or even the family left in the house by them self and no one would have had a clue if they followed the killer instruction. This story may have had many spins. The out come may have been very bad.

The killer plan out the crime right to the letter. When the 911 call was place, he was so mad, JonBenet was struck twice in the head after the cord was pulled.

He left without taking the Ransom Note that could ID him as the killer and because they had the note in their hands at the time he left, That why the note was left.^:00 am up the basement stairs, out the Butler pantry side door, to the left, down the side yard, to the dark alleyway.
