 Lot Size - 93 ft long on 15th street and 125 ft deep to alleyway. Lots are 11,625 sq ft in area. and is a .26 of an acre.
Property Elevations are for four corners and are set at the starting bench mark at the North East point on 15th street at the side walk.(Bench Mark - 0 feet).

Corner One - North East corner -(0 feet at grade). Bench Mark - Starting Point.

Corner Two - South East corner -(+5 feet higher than Bench Mark Grade).

Corner Three - North West corner -(+10 feet higher than Bench Mark Grade).

Corner Four - South West corner -(+15 feet higher than Bench Mark Grade).

The back yard and driveway connects to a 15 feet wide alleyway. This very dark at night alleyway also has trees and solid wood fences that can hide the view from any neighbors. The backyard’s South West corner is 7 feet higher than the grade at the back hallway kitchen door.
Jonbenet’s bed room was to the left of this service door and on the second level. Her bedroom has large windows and a glass door that provides a view out to the side/back yard, this house design will allow an eye level view from the yard’s South West corner into her bedroom and the top’s of the beds. The killer could watch the actives of the entire home from this location and not be seen.
The Ransom Note stated that they would monitor the family. The black marker, note pad and the placement of the ransom note could be seen all from this property location.

Place of interest is the South West alleyway property corner.

Note:
A 6 ft tall person is above eye level to the top of Jonbenet’s bed and could monitor the actives in her bedroom from the South West corner of the property with out being seen.

Alleyway Between 15th and 14th Streets

Neighborhood Property Facts:

 15th street is 610 feet long.
The side walks are 5’-0” wide on each side of 15th street.
The Ramsey house is located 245 feet from Cascade st.
The Ramsey house is located 365 feet from Baseline Rd. From the center of 15th street to the alleyway is 170 feet.
The North side neighbor house is 28 feet apart.
The North East neighbor house is 130 feet apart.
The East side neighbor house is 136 feet apart.
The South East neighbor house is 148 feet apart.
The South side neighbor house is 60 feet apart.
 The alleyway West side neighbor house is 98 feet apart.
From 15th street to 14th street is located 345 feet apart.
The alleyway is listed as 15 feet wide.
The kitchen door to the closes neighbor house is 88 feet.
The single 15 feet wide alleyway is design for two way traffic.
 Fences and trees line the 610 feet long alleyway.
There are no street lights installed for dark nights.
The only good place for a walker to cut through from 15th street to the alleyway is located at 755 15th street at the North side of the property line.
The killer may have use the alleyway in this crime.

The "butler's" door was found open the morning of the murder, outside near by they found an unsourced baseball bat that had fibers on it consistent with those found in the basement near by where JonBenet's body was found.
This door was located on the North Side of the house next to the cut thought path that the killer may have used.

This road is South of the Ramsey house by 365 feet.
From this view, the Ramsey house is on the right side of the 15 feet wide alleyway.
The alleyway connect each property to their parking spaces and drive ways.
The one lane alleyway allows for two way traffic.
The alleyway is line with wood fences and trees making this a dark street because there are no street lights installed.
The grade is higher at Baseline Rd. than at the other end at Cascade Ave by 36 feet and is 610 feet long.
15th street has a grade rise of 23/32” per foot to the South.
Retaining walls are structures designed to restrain soil to unnatural slopes.
They are used to bound soils between two different elevations often in areas of terrain possessing undesirable slopes or in areas where the landscape needs to be shaped severely and engineered for more specific purposes like hillside farming or roadway overpasses.
The West side of 15th street has a higher grade than the East side of the street.
The Ramsey side of the street is line with many property owner installed retaining walls located inside of the side walk property lines.
This would make it harder to cut through to the back alleyway from 15th street for a walker on foot.
The only place that does not have this retaining wall and a near level path to the alley way is 755 15th street or the Ramsey property.
The North side of the property line would make a good cut through path and this side of the house would be hidden from view from any one in side the house looking out. Any one using this cut through path would walk close by the Butler Kitchen door that was found open on the 26th.

Walking From Alleyway To 15th Street

Cascade Ave. to Baseline Rd is 610 Feet

The average person walks between 2-4 mph, dependent on their build and length of legs. It also depends on their enthusiasm. Some mothers will walk about 5 mph when they are shopping.

Walking speed depends greatly on how fit someone is, and also on height, weight, age, the terrain they are walking on, and many other factors. However the average speed a person walks is about 3 miles per hour.

3-3.5 MPH Most people walk at a pace of 3 to 3.5 miles per hour.
Four miles per hour is a brisk walk.
At about 6 miles per hour, one is jogging.
Over a sustained distance, like a marathon, 12 miles/hr is a world-record pace.

1 Mile = 5280 Feet

The killer’s estimated walking speed was base at 5 mph.
Multiply the speed in mph by 5,280 feet per mile.
The result is the speed in feet per hour.
Then Divide by 60 = feet per minute and then divide by 60 = feet per second. 5 mph X 5,280 = 26,400 / 60 = 440 / 60 = 7.3333 feet per second.
The killer will walk the 610 feet alleyway in just 83 seconds or 1 minute 23 seconds.

The alleyway was very dark and line by trees and fences.

The killer could cut through the yard’s north property line from 15th street to the alley in just 23 seconds.
He then could walk toward Cascade Ave in 33 seconds or walk toward Baseline Rd in 50 seconds.
From Ramsey house to Cascade Ave is 345 feet. or Ramsey house to Baseline Rd is 365 feet. From the alleyway, there were many ways to exit the street.

On the 25th, at 5:00 pm, a male person was seen walking up to the house from 15th street at the North property line cut through.

The killer preplan and monitored the family before the crime.

An neighbor seen a white male walk up to the north side of house near the Butler door around 5:00 p m just after the family left for the Christmas dinner. This door was found open the next morning.
The ransom note takes 30 minutes to print with a hard to write water base Sharpie marker. This marker that was out of production for many years was left in a orange can place under the kitchen phone were other family pens and marker are kept.
In the back hall way was a counter, one of many white writing pad were stored, hand place for the family to make every day notes. Any one could seen this pad and use it as they did.

Profile:

The killer mover around the house as the family was at the Christmas party. He see and take the note pad from the inside counter and prints the ransom note. Page one is scrap and he starts over.
The killer has a art background and he is prod of his work, like the use of the art safe water base marker keep in a new unused condition. He know this note will be seen by many and will be very importance in the crime, he has a art background and wants his work of at to look the best for display.
Page one of the ransom note was Dog Ear at the bottom left side of the page. This tell us more about the killer. Instructors and art teachers, and trail guilds do this in the every day work.
The note is printed , This tell us more about the killer and how he thinks.
The page uses to print the note was taken from the middle of the unused note pad, new, flat as what a arties would uses, not folded and damage. He an arties and prod of his work.
The Dog Ear help him find page one when he need them at the time of placement, it will be dark he predicts. The note pad was found in it kept location by John and the police, so the killer replace the note pad back before he left the crime scene.
To keep everything in place, not disturb the house, he keeps the ransom note safe out of site next to were the note will be place, by the back stairs and id next to the counter were the note pad is stored.
The family come home and walk right by the ransom note kept inside the middle of the note pad. Flat, un damage, and in plane view out of site, next to where the note will be place, fast and easy for the killer.
At the time the killer needs to place the note for the crime, he simply find the Dog Ear page and tears out the three page from the note pad on the counter that was there by the killer for safe keeping. This pad location is a arm length from the placement of the ransom note. Flat and un damage, this is his art work.
Simple and quick placement of the ransom note, ready and easy to find in the dark at the time the killer need it.

Specal notes:

The black Sharpie marker, the orange can under the kitchen phone, the white note pad on the counter, the steps to the back stairs and placement of the ransom note as well as a view into Jonbenet bedroom could all be seen and monitor from one property location. The South/West side of the yard. This would be a place of interest.
That said, the silver spoon used was all so stored in a case next to the back steps and could be seen form this side yard location. A place for preplanning the crime.
The kitchen glass table could all so be seen from this location too. Pineapple and tea cup placement was in full view too. What does this tell us.
The killer simple reaches over to the counter and locates the Dog Ear page and removes the three page ransom note, flat and in a new condition, stored very close to the placement location of the back steps. Very smart and preplanned by the killer. Kept in plan site when the family walk by but printed in side the middle of the note pad. Out of site.

The items left at the house set up the family as police check for clues.

Ransom note back steps:

Around 9:30 p m as the family enter the two car garage, JonBenet was asleep. When this happen, John was the one that would carrie JonBenet uo the back stairs to her second floor bedroom.
The carrie JonBenet up the sprial stairs, one would have to carrie a child in a proper way. Up the stairs from the bottom, the child would have to place over the left shoulder as the center supporting post will require this to have room to walk up the round turns. This is a hard step to climb with out a child in you arms.
Green garlen wall rap around the rails with white lights.
Green flakes could come into contact with JonBenet hair as she was carried up the stairs. If this tranfer did happen at that time, then traces of the green flakes would be located on her bed if it did not get tranfer there before that day.
The front strps also had garlen rap around the hand rail. If the killer place the ransom note on the bottom of the back steps just before going up to JonBenet bedroom, the note would not get step on.
The killer may want to use the easyer path to the down stairs and this would be the wider main stairs the is next to the basement stairs. Green flakes could be tranfer from the hand rail too.
The son herd some creaking noises that late night and told police.
If the killer did use the back step to take JonBenet down stairs, he would carrier he iover his right shoulder. Damage to JonBenet one side was note in the file. A tranfer of flakes could be tranfer too.
The killer may have step on the ransom note id the back steps were used, but not the front steps.
The back round step make a load creeking sound as one walk on these steps, the front hard wood step do not.

The front step would be the path of interest.

I ask John this question last month. He said "Patsy seen the note first". So I ask, What step was the ransom note place on? He said "She seen it, may be step one, two or three". So I don't know what step or how it was place too. Right side, left side, all in a stack, spread out?
The steps are 36 inches wide. if place to left side or to the center post, one can easily walk down the round design steps and not step on the stack ransom note. Did the police tell them not to talk about the real placement because only the Killer and Patsy know this information. The police will keep information like this from the public to be used to ID the real killer.

White paper, The crime scene and our profile tested has shown us that the note was place on step three.
Step three show us how the house was monitored.

One need a good profile to seen the clues left at the crime scene.

The son stated in the police report he herd some creeking noise near by in the house that night.
The back round step makes a load noise each time you walk down each step. Add JonBenet weight and the hard to walk step design, we think the killer use the wide noise free front steps. This may be the sounds the son heard that night. Green garlen was rap around the rail and would be a easy safe way to the first floor then to the basement.
The note would of been place on the back steps just before he went up stairs to JonBenet room.
The note may have been stored next to the steps in the center of the note pad ready to locate as the killer Dog Ear page one to find it easy in the dark if needed. This note pad was arms didstance on a hallway counter for safe keeping into the time need to place on back steps.
Flat and undamage. This fit the profile of the killer.

The pictures that the Boulder police took was at a side angle. Property angles for taking pictures are at a 90 d to the item. A scale must be place in the photo so that is can be scaled at a later time.
We here in the lab now have soft ware that can a just for picture that were not at the property 90 d angle but we still need a scale in the photo.
There are many tools that could cause those marks, like a animal probe stun gun, law enforcement stun gun, electrical dust footprint lifter.
Just inside the wine cellar door to the right on the wall was a 120 volt electrical outlet that could be used as a power source. Was this why Jonbent was place in this location at the time of here death? This location was a open view to any one that would walk down the basement steps that night.
Other marks to Jonbent head could have came for the log grabber found in the right side of the cellar door way just under the power outlet. Temple and jaw area on each side of her head.
The log grabber matches the two mark all so on her back. This tool was made of metal and was rusty. Crime scene photos show this tool in this area.

Trofee:
Many killer take somthing form the crime secne, other have a need to relive the crime over and over. The killer that take a Trofee has a need to prove to himself that he has Won the prize.
What did the killer take for the crime scene.

Trofee:
The items used in the crime will tell us something about the killer. A paint stick was use with a white cord. Black duct tape was use as a statement when applied to the mouth. The child was tied up with cords and undress and redress.
Green paint was found on JonBenet chin and this green paint was trace to the same green paint found on top next to the broken paint stick in the paint tote.
Boulder police took a desk from the basement as it was use in this crime.
TROFEE:
The killer's profile point to that the killer spent a lot of time in the home and PAINTED the image of JonBenet with a pink night ground on at one point.
The Sharpie marker used in the crime was a water base marker, this out of production marker is use by real arties that know about ink and paper for longer life of art work. Many arties that use Sharpies markers also use what is called a sketch book and this look just like a Note Pad.
The style of printing in the ransom note tell us that the killer work with ads, books, and other printed items. The killer has a connection to marketing.
The foot print left in the wine cellar called Hi-Tec is common to rock climber and trail guilds. the white cords are used with tent cords and the knot tying is common with climbing.
The TROFEE may be the drawing that the killer drew that night.
The killer has a art background.
He is al lso a rock climbing teacher or a art instructor that travel wend not teaching like Christmas break.
He may have lost a ad account that change his income the year before. He blames John Ramsey for his problem and want a payback.
The ransom note print quality show us he may have the start of MS, this would has started under heat and stress. Most people that get MS are around age 35, a neighbor seen a white male walk up to the Ramsey's home around 5:00 pm just after the family left for a Christmas party.
He will live far from Boulder and his use of printing and leaving the note would not connect him to the crime.
As a rock climber that hang high on a cord ties with knots, he is fearless and staying in the Ransom house at night with the family sleeping show us his comfort level. The cords are connected with a clip called a Carabiner, a key size carabiner imprint was found by Boulder police next to Jonbent body.

Profile:
The profile has been put together base on case information over the years. The ransom note wording and the items use in the crime add to the profile of the killer.
Park ranger that are train in and are familiar with Law enforcement countermeasures and tactics. Some park rangers all so have a background as a rock climbing and instructors. For their safety out on the trails for many days with group of individuals that represent foreign climbers from around the world, protection is needed and a black stun gun is one of the tools used for this.
These climbers sleep in light weight tents and these tent are tied down with white cords. These cords are 96 inches long and cut into two pieces match the size of the cord used in the crime. Back packs are used for other supplies, a back pack was found at the crime scene as well as climbing rope.
Sometime tools will slip and fall to the hard rock ground and become damage. If the tool is a stun gun, it will need to be fix. The stun gun has a black plastic case that when it falls and cracks, the tips become displace and the distance between the probes change. The cost of these stun gun are not cheap so the climbing guild will used duct tape to tape the two side of the stun gun back together. To look the best not broken, BLACK color duct tape is used, just like the color and size used in the crime. The piece of duck tape use in the crime is the same size that would be needed to rap around a broken stun gun. This small piece of black tape used would not have a any good performance in taping JonBenet lips.
The black tape found at the crime scene did not match any other black tape in the house. This mean the killer brought the black duck tape in with him. Tape around the broken stun gun for safe keeping. The marks on JonBenet may have been a stun gun. It fit the profile to the letter.
The climbing guild will all way tell their climbers to Listen carefully! before the many day hike and climb. Climbing shoes are needed and Hi-Tec are used like the imprint found next to JonBenet body. The instructor will all so inform each individual in the group that represent many foreign country to be rested. The climb will be exhausting so I advise you to be rested.
Tying knots are an importance part of rock climbing and the used of Carabiner will be used in the climb just like the imprint found next to Jonbenet at the crime scene.
The instructor will inform the climbers that if they have a problem then, they must Follow our instructions and you stand a 100% chance of getting back. If you try to grow a brain by not following our instruction then if you fall your family may be denied your remains for proper burial because you did not follow our instruction to the letter and your body may be lost forever. The two gentlemen watching over the climb at base camp will monitor the climbers and if we monitor you getting to the next camps early, we might call you on radio early to arrange an earlier delivery of the supplies and hence a earlier pickup of your supplies.
Any deviation of my instructions will result in your immediate turning back to base camp. Don't try to grow a brain climbers. You are not the only climber around on the trails so safety is importance and don't think that climbing will not be difficult. Don't underestimate the climb. Use that good climbing common sense of yours at all times. It is up to you now climbers!

The presence of such scales in an image allows investigators to reconstruct the dimensional context of a scene and provides a means to reproduce one-to-one photographs of physical evidence. In some cases, information extracted from the reconstruction of a scene provides evidence in court. The National Academy of Science (NAS) published a report, in which it highlights inadequacies in the current state of forensic science.1 In the report, the NAS emphasizes in part the need for the forensics community to adopt stronger methodologies and more exacting standards. Consistent with the report, crime scene investigators and analysts have expressed concern over the accuracy of forensic photo scales. As a result, the Dimensional Metrology Group (DMG) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), in cooperation with the NIST Law Enforcement Standards Office (OLES) and the National Institute for Justice (NIJ), were tasked to investigate and report on the current state of forensic photo scale accuracy.

Stun Gun Marks shown in photos have not been good for geometrical reference and the forensic photo scales have a problem with accuracy.
This mean that the stun gun marks found may fit the stun gun marks tested at the crime scene when looking at the official Boulder crime scene photos.
