Can I just point out again, as my reply was deleted despite not speculating anything about that... that I did not mean that the search should stop. I don't think the search should end at all until Madeleine is found fullstop.

Not only alive, but presumably within a happy family group who take her out and about where she can be seen.

Madeleine could be with another family,  you just don't know,  she could be with a paedophile,  you just don't know or she could be dead,   no one knows.

I have just posted on the General Discussion topic about a kidnapped Japanese girl who has turned up alive after 2 years. I hadn't previously heard of her - wonder how many in the world were actively looking for her and why she couldn't get access to a mobile device?

I don't say all, but certainly too many (who insist Madeleine is dead) do so from malign motives.
