Are you trying to shame me simply because I pointed out (correctly) that HB was instrumental in bringing CB to justice over the rape of DM?  There’s lots of “if only x had done y” in this case, if only the McCanns had chosen  to stay at home, or never had a child at all, all this nastiness could have been avoided for example.  Now, I know the last fews day on here have been punishing for you but please be nice and stop trying to make out that I’m HB’s biggest fan, it’s really silly.

I think the prosecution will be able to prove that beyond reasonable doubt.  They said they would at the beginning.  The defence seem to be suggesting that Kate McCann was remiss in not bowing to this nutcase’s demands to do a DNA test.

It said something about The Police rejecting this claim, but they already have Madeleine's DNA from various evidence submitted.  Plus they have Gerry's and Kate's, so there is no need for Kate to do so.

The foolproof way is to compare the DNA of claimant against the parents to Madeleine to demonstrate there is no genetic connection.

The problem with existing samples might relate to jurisdiction. Those of the McCanns were collected by police in connection with the disappearance of Madeleine and may not be available to this court.

Even mentally ill people have to stand trial for crimes they have committed.  What is Spragg’s excuse?

I agree. But she and her friend have been breaking the law for some time.

Spragg is the one who is the real problem, but I doubt they can deal with one without the other.

I think they would need to be on the same police data base for comparison. A sample collected by, say, Ancestry might not be suitable.
