I wonder if they asked the jury beforehand about their views on the McCanns?  I suspect if there’s a couple of “sceptics” on the jury then these two may be found not guilty.

I don't think threats of violence or rudeness are necessarily aspects of stalking.  It's the relentless, unwanted intrusion into another's privacy that constitues stalking behaviour imo.

Both women will walk free just as I suspected they would.  Hopefully however Wandelt will now be deported to her home country where I sincerely hope she receives the mental health treatment she so obviously needs, the poor thing.

I think you might be right.  But at least they have established that she isn't Madeleine McCann.  What an expensive palaver.  And what will Wandelt do next?

Personally I think the whole thing was handled heavy handedly

Instead of going to trial. Spragg should have been given a caution and or a restriction order and Wendell deported straight back to Poland.

I think it’s odd that you can be found not guilty of harassment and then be given a restraining order.  Surely the order can only be given if there is a victim of harassment caused by the person given the restraing order?!
