Ecstasy, MDMA, Cocaine, Ketamine & Alcohol. So said his toxicology report. But they never said how much. He went to a rave & took a shit load of drugs. Went back to some guys villa, probably to do more drugs, then when the party was over he set off on a 14 hour walk back to his hotel. What a senseless waste of such a promising young man's life.

I thought I was being quite fair. I said it wasn't her fault. Jay was wasted coming down from hard drugs & a bit stupid too. It was a fatal combination. But his mother wasn't to blame. Nor were all his friends who failed to show up at his inquest.

I wouldn't want to live in a world where it was forbidden to criticise people & their foolish actions. I wish no malice toward Jay Slater's mum. Why would I? But, the circumstances of his demise were entirely a result of his own drug fuelled stupidity.

Would you say it to her face - “your son was a coke fueled moron”?  No you wouldn’t.  So why say it online where she might see such a comment?  What do you gain from saying it?  Does it make you feel morally superior? 
Obviously the likelihood of reading the dross you come out with on this forum is very small but it’s nonetheless the kind of comment she’s had to put up with for the last year or so and each comment will no doubt have a cumulative effect on her mental well being.  I really sincerely don’t understand what you gain from writing something like that about a young man who died a tragic death, even if it was as a result of his own thoughtless actions.  We know you were young once, we know you are a big fan of drugs and used to peddle them presumably to people like Jay, we know you are foolish and immature (or at least that’s the impression you give on here) so what puts you on the moral high ground?

Because I didn't take loads of drugs & walk off a cliff. It might appear big headed of me but the fact that I didn't die by foolish misadventure, it does kind of make me superior. I'm sorry if you disagree but that's just the way I see things.

Wasn't there an accusation at one point that he had been Murdered?   Not sure who said that, but the whole incident seemed very unlikely to me, murdered or otherwise.
