Happy New Year everyone;  If anyone is still alive.  I did my usual non thing and went to bed early.

I am not much of a Christmas, New Year person, beyond being thankful that it is all over.  Just Full Moon to get past now.

As 2025 draws to a close, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us, in whatever way, over the past year & for continuing to hope for positive news of Madeleine. Thank you too for all the lovely Christmas cards and good wishes.

The investigation continues & we are very grateful to the police forces for this. Despite information shared in the media over recent months, the ongoing search and quest for knowledge & justice has not stopped & is far from over.

It has been a pleasure to join the charity Missing People recently in supporting ?Safecall?. Safecall provides confidential, free support and guidance for young people who have left or are thinking of leaving home or their place of care, and those at risk from criminal or sexual exploitation.

With our best wishes for a peaceful & positive new year & may 2026 bring us the breakthrough we long for.

She was raped & murdered by Christian Brueckner. Wolters said so. I guess the McCanns just don't read the news, watch the television or ever get contacted by the head of the investigation into their daugthers disappearance.

They are parents who hope against all the odds that their daughter is still alive, unlikely as it may be.  Of course if they?d murdered her they would be only too pleased to agree with Wolters publicly but the fact that they don?t accept it speaks to their innocence.  Of course you?ll find some barmy reason to disagree as usual.

I think he has a professional opinion, and I think he is almost certainly right.  Nothing bonkers about it.  Whatever gave you the impression that I thought there was hope Madeleine was still alive?
