I?d like to politely suggest you put your theory into Chat GPT.  Tell them you believe Matt Oldfield?s time line is the correct one and that the Smiths saw Gerry at exactly 10.03pm.  See what it says and then try and persuade it you?re not a completely delusional fantasist, and that it is physically possible for a man to do everything you?re accusing Gerry of in under 10 minutes.  Then report back your findings.

The key issue is timing being estimates. Somewhere between Matts 9:50pm & Gerry's 10:13pm.
We'll never know the exact time Kate came screaming, but if the alarm was raised prior to 10pm there is the possibility for Gerry to have been out searching alone at the same time as the Smith Sighting.
