I'm not interested in cadaver alerts. But I doubt the dogs searched all the areas between 5a & in the direction of the Smith sighting anyway. Gerry was gone from the table for 15 minutes or more. Plenty of time to secrete her in the general direction of the Smith sighting.

Where are you getting Gerry being absent from the table for 15 minutes or more from?  What time did he leave and what time did he return and upon whose witness statements are you basing this on?  And before you ask, yes I have read the files.

He left for his check at around 9pm according to Kate & Jane commented that he was gone a long time in the 'Madeleine was here' fictional drama. Jez Wilkins put the time he spoke to Gerry between 9:45 & 10:15. If we accept the later time of 9:15 that tallies with Janes belief that she left 5 or 10 minutes after Gerry. Jane placed the time Gerry left as 9:10 but that does not fit with Gerry's 9:05. In his second statement he said he returned to the table at 9:15. Kate claims Gerry left at 9pm. So, 9:00 to 9:15, Gerry is somewhere doing something.

So, Gerry was inside the apartment for around 10 minutes. That's enough time to remove object from apartment 5a & carry it to a location in the direction of the Smith sighting. Secrete it, & then return to 5a.

All the timings are estimates VS. But, Gerry was gone from the table for a long enough period that Jane noticed & commented on it. So, there was time for him to have moved object away from the apartment. It isn't complicated.

Jez wasn't sure exactly what time he spoke to Gerry. He placed the time as being somewhere between 9:45 & 10:15 & that he only spoke to Gerry for a couple of minutes.
