Well the situation is this:
The lying cheating misoginist showman with the funny hair is President Elect of The United States.
He reached that position by the American version of a process referred to as democracy.
That's the situation has to be dealt with. Moan whinge play your face as much as you like but for the next four years that's it. The choice is deal with him or stick your head up your backside and pretend he's not really Mr President. Which would we prefer our PM did?
As for the riots what you were really looking at was a bunch of folk rioting against democracy.

My Basic State Pension can only improve, in that case.  However, my only real concern has been for Britain.  Brexit knocked the heart out of my Pension, but I would still have voted for it, knowing that it would.  If I had had a vote, of course.

The Pound has been a joke for many a long year, and believe me, I have taken some knock backs over the last ten years. 

But I am a bit flummoxed by for why the election of Donald Trump should have given a boost to what was always a hideously poor British Pension.  That I worked for.

The example you gave was of Trump suggesting fighting back against the anti-Trump protesters, who were regularly attacking Trump supporters at Trump rallies....  (anti Trump protesters who were as it happens, funded & provoked.... by the Democrats...see wiki leaks)

Trump supporters weren't attacking Clinton supporters at her rallies......
