Incoherence . Inability to finish a sentence, or in some cases, string two of them together.
That might be quite common in general conversation.

What? That she becomes incoherent when speaking to the police?
What I notice about Jane's interview is the high level of frustration she has at being disbelieved by the press and the PJ.  she has therefore become hesitant to repeat somethings IMO.

It's true that the PJ visited Mr Russell on 9th May. They did so because he contacted them with a story about seeing a car at 22.45 on 3rd May whose female driver he recognised. Yet another story pointing the police to Lagos Marina, it seems.

Russell described the woman's partner as bald, so why the PJ would show him the drawing he produced I can't imagine. No-one else ever claimed to have seen it AFAIK. So who were the DM referring to?

they have, apparently, shown a sketch like this to residents in Praia da Luz.

You will have to provide a cite for that. I can’t see it in your posts yesterday?
Will the post numbers do?  Sometimes I say "yesterday" when for you it might still be "today" depending on time zones.  I'm in Tuesday and you are still dealing with Monday.

to me she seems emotional, and frustrated, annoyed that she was doubted, but admits with all the subsequent discussion she can't isolate the memory of that night clearly away from her total awareness (accumulated memory it could be called).

I am talking about Simon Russell. The PJ went to see him because he rang them with information bout a couple who used to work for his parents. He described the male as a bald man. I could understand the police showing him an e fit of a bald man if they had one, but it makes no sense for them to show him what he describes. Also, when they have shown witnesses an e fit they usually say so. In this report no e fit is mentioned by the PJ. Compare it with the PJ's visit to the Dolphin;

Being shown the portraits created as part of the investigation along with various photographs from the case file, she did not recognise the individual nor any similarity. With respect to the picture made by Jane Tanner, attached, she affirmed that the hair in the picture was similar to that of the individual she had seen, as referred to in this statement, such as the colour and the hairstyle. Also the build of the person in the picture appeared similar but she couldn't affirm it was the same person due the lack of facial features in the picture.

Why ask a question then answer it yourself?
Even if we said we had you would argue the toss, that we hadn't.

which of the two options is correct please?
1.  the PJ would show him (Simon Russell) the drawing he (Simon Russell) produced.

2. the PJ would show him (Simon Russell) the drawing she (Jane Tanner) produced
