Given up on the memory thing have you. Seeing as you are unwilling, or too unintelligent to accept incontrovertible proof that memory is affected by stress it would be impossible to prove ANYTHING on this board
That memory is negatively affected by stress is not a fact, it's a hypothesis. 30 years ago the opposite was believed. The research is on going and as far as I'm aware, the latest studies show that people believe that they recall stressful events more clearly than non stressful events, but that they actually degrade at the same rate. There was some interesting research done around the 9/11 bombings.
My personal experience is that my memory of the most stressful event of my life is permanently ingrained on my brain. This isn't falsifiable though, so entirely unscientific.
I should add that I am not a scientist. I have a terrible fondness for pop science books though, which basically means I know a little about a lot.
