Today (6 May 2018) sunrise was 06.39, according to the weather site used by the Habana.

Perhaps 06.45-ish on 4 May.
What's up, old man?

But it must be getting light before that too.

It's light by 6 so it looks like your times are about an hour out...
There is a difference between getting light and sunrise.

Sunrise is more like 5.45, not sure why SIL is so far out.
Do they have daylight saving time as we do?

Countries/cities can be in the same time zone but that doesn't mean they share the same sunrise times. Sunrise is an hour later in Madrid than it is in Naples, for example.

Dawn, when it starts to become light, was at 6 am in the Algarve today.

The camera doesnt lie.

Just had a look at the other camera at Ocean Villas in Praia da Luz which points east and you are correct, on the 4th May the sun rose between 7am and 7.10am.   Confirmed too that at the moment Portugal and the UK share the same timezone.

The reality for PdL is that the headland blocks the sunrise for anyone standing on or near the beach. Locations further east and higher above sea level which have a clear line of sight to the horizon will have a slightly earlier sunrise.

Official sunrise though is 6.38 pm for 3 May.

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

They are always on the same time.  Clocks spring forward at the same time, clocks fall back at the same time.
