So you haven't been reading my Theory.
In the first video the Minister is saying they will work around the clock to figure out what the motive was.

Then the reporter is showing the car is saying the car was intercepted on the border where they got the child unhurt and the father later came to pick up his daughter.

The minister is saying again that the kidnappers had the passport of a child but they are not sure which child is this because it is a baby photo on it and they are investigating whether the photo of the baby matches the kidnapped child.
He said he saw the passport, the photo is of a small child and they would like to know who this child is.
Since the passport was produced some time ago this could be her photo or a photo or some other child.
They would know the next day if the photo is matching the kidnapped child.
They are waiting for more information about this passport from their French colleagues.

The video (cctv) at 1:10 then is showing the part of the kidnapping showing the actual car.
Then there is some social worker talking about the unusual profile of the stolen child in this case. Usually a missing child would be known to social services and in her 11 years of her career she's never heard of a similar case of a kidnapping.
And in Serbian law this kind of kidnapping is facing the prison term from 3 to 15 years.

In the next video the Minister is talking: he's saying they received a call from area of Vozdovac in capital Belgrade where the child was stolen from mums arms.
Their transport police acted quickly and soon they knew the position of the car in question and they deployed the helicopters and intercepting vehicles.
The policemen behind him were part of the team trying to intercept the car with kidnappers.

At one point they tried to push the child through the window and over a fence but the police persuited them and surrounded them  and prevented this action.

Nebojsa Stefanovic (interior minister) says it is suspected that the French citizens who last week abducted a child in Belgrade were operating as part of a human trafficking ring.

"The police reacted quickly and energetically and showed that we will not allow Serbia to be the ground for criminal groups dealing in human trafficking, kidnapping our children and taking them abroad. In cooperation with the prosecution, our French colleagues, but also other European police forces, we wish to show that we are ready for such organized crime groups and to, through strong preventive activities, stop them from even thinking about coming to Serbia," said Stefanovic.

I wish I knew the updated version what happened to the three individuals who snatched a child from its mother in the street.

Were they tried in Serbia?  If they were, what was the result?  Remarkably they were filmed before, during and after the snatch ... so the case against them had to be very strong.

In my opinion they had a plan in action or they wouldn't have crossed borders into Serbia complete with a child's passport.

Was the little girl an opportune kidnap or was there more to it?

An absolutely incredible occurrence however one looks at it ... these things just don't happen in real life... but the video evidence shows that it did happen in Serbia.
Why is it that the absence of video evidence in Portugal is enough for sceptics to believe that the unthinkable didn't happen to Madeleine McCann too?

If the little Serbian girl had been spirited across the border and never seen again from that day to this ... when and why would it have been appropriate for a policeman to write a book declaring her mother a liar and claiming she is dead?  Thus taking away her right to be looked for.

If the perpetrators had slipped through the net and managed to vanish it is my opinion that the Serbian Police wold have continued to pursue the case until every scrap of evidence had been investigated.
I think that is exactly what Scotland Yard and the Policia Judiciaria are doing in Madeleine's case and the thought of them giving up on her before that is accomplished must be anathema to anyone who can differentiate between what is right and what is wrong.

"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

The fact is that there was evidence in the above case showing what happened. It wasn't child traffickers as such, it was a woman with her mother and stepfather who gave a very strange reason for taking the child. It was to use her as a replacement for the woman's own child in a paternity test. She didn't want her child to be associated with her father. It doesn't seem to have occurred to her that tests would show the child wasn't hers, either. Anyway, they got jailed.

So was Madeleine herself stolen to order?  If so why not take her younger sister who would be more malleable and also didn't have an apparently noticeable eye defect which may stay with her for life.

Wrong age.

Wrong age.

Ah so the abductors were looking for a 3 year old not a 2 year old. I wouldn't imagine that one year's age gap would have made a difference particularly with Madeleine having her distinctive eye and therefore being more recognisable.  But of course I don't know who you have in mind as the abductor so I can't make more of an opinion on that.

I understand your reticence in naming names though.

Thanks for your reply Eleanor

Wrong age.

So a child of Madeleine's age died and a replacement was stolen. The parents could hardly produce this child as their own to family, friends and neighbours, however. They would have to move to a new area where they weren't known. Unless it was in the UK they would have to hide the child until it became fluent in whatever language the parents spoke. They would also, in my opinion, find themselves dealing with a child who had suffered considerable trauma.

A girl child is born to a couple while they are travelling abroad.  The child later sadly dies.  They don't inform their families of the death, perhaps due to fear of criticism, but by then they have a passport for the dead child.

They arrange to adopt a child by whatever means available, and then continue travelling until the child can speak their language and hopefully get over what ever trauma she has suffered.  Small children are remarkably resilient.

They then return to their own country and present the child as their own.

Surely the family members would realise that Madeleine wasn't their loved one virtually instantly, particularly with her distinctive eye, or did the family you are thinking of have a child with a distinctive eye too Eleanor?

How would they realise if they had never seen the baby?

One of my grandsons has this eye defect, and it is not obvious or all that easy to see.  By the way, a lot of children have this.

Do we think this theory could merge with Sadie’s?

Did they register the death and dispose of the body legally?

How could I know that?  But in a country foreign to them, perhaps not.

Cot Deaths are still treated with suspicion by many, and rolling on a child while the parent is asleep also happens.

So fear of the consequences in an unfamiliar country might, in your opinion, lead to parents covering up and accidental death? The parents must have disposed of the body then. Any thoughts on what they might have done with it?
