Age Progressed Images

According to KM's book two age-progressed images have been produced.  I think I'm only familiar with the image at age 9. 

In the early days individuals all over the globe were contacting the authorities claiming to have seen MM.  Afaik all these 'sightings' were checked out and proved not to have been MM.  The age-progressed images do not appear to have generated any 'sightings'?  Why?

- Initial image of MM put out in public domain in scarlet dress aged 3.5 which also highlighted the brown fleck in her iris had more impact?

- High profile global news story in the early days/weeks/months which the public wearied of as time went on and therefore the age-progressed images simply didn't register or register enough for people to be on the look out?

- Public came to the conclusion MM is deceased and therefore stopped believing she could be found looking like the age-progressed images? 

Others can probably come up with other reasons but the above are those that spring to mind.

I would believe that to be the reason.

Or it could be most of the public now - believe parents were involved and Maddie will never be found

There was one posted on the internet about 2ish years ago ... but it seems to have vanished off the internet.  It was a three quarters / almost side view of Madelienes face and she had a sort of pony tail.  Fair hair of a reddish brown hue. 

It wasn't perfect, I commented on the thickness of her neck, but there was a likeness to how I think she would be now.
