What an interesting article. So Op Grabge haven't advised the McCanns to have a new picture produced, despite experts advising they should be done every two years? Perhaps they haven't got the manpower or funds needed to record and follow up the sightings that might follow. Or they don't think she's out there.

Despite that same advice the McCanns haven't gone ahead and had one done on their own initiatve either. They say that's because it's lengthy, costly and enotionally draining. In other words it would inconvenience them. So much for leaving no stone unturned.

I'm not sure an e-fit 12 years on could ever be that reliable.  Surely some of how MM might appear if she is still alive will be dependent on her environment which is unknown: exposure to sun, diet, exercise, any optical aids, how she wears her hair, skin care and make-up, dentistry and oral hygiene etc, etc.

So  Metropolitan Police  have not asked, and sent dogs out to dig up near her alledged abduction. Perhaps they think she is dead. and not living in plain sight with a' loving childless couple' at all.

No, you’re blaming the police, the McCanns aren’t.

Why was the article written? To point out the lack of a new picture. It makes sense to ask those who have produced them previously why there hasn't been a new one. The answer? The police haven't suggested it. Conclusion; if the police had suggested it the parents would have done it.
