OK, you may well be ahead of me on this case, so I would appreciate your input.

I have no idea if there is a list of witnesses to be called by either side.  If there is, that would be most excellent.

If the prosecution calls dog handler evidence, I would expect the defence to quiz the ability of those dog handlers, not dogs in general.

If the prosecution tries to present that the dogs alerted in the house or the pick-up truck, then I would hope it is supported by forensics.

We shall see.

The alerts no longer have to be supported by forensics as you seem to think. They can now be corroborated by anectdotal witness statements as i have posted several times before. if any forensic evidence had been found surely this would have been mentioned re the dogs admissibility...i think we can therefore assume none was found

Mary Cablk testimony will refer to dogs in general

List of witnesses to be called found here
 https://www.courts.state.co.us/Courts/County/Case_Details.cfm?Case_ID=2273

I haven't looked at the list in any detail yet.

Then tough... If a thread title mentions cadaver dogs I will post re cadaver dogs
If the thread is on the Madeleine McCann forum then posts re that case are on topic.
If you want to exclude both then the Redwine case has no place on this board..

At times, it appears that if the thread is on the Madeleine McCann forum then you will post re cadaver dogs.

My backlog is already full, and I want to gets this parked now.

Mark Redwine is about to go to trial in September, for the 2012 murder of his 13 year old son Dylan, and disposing of the body, in Durango, Colorado.

A judge has listened to statements from 2 or more of the dog handlers, and Mary Cablk, who opined that cadaver odour would not be detected a week after removal of a body.  The judge has ruled that the cadaver dog alerts may be presented at trial.

https://www.kob.com/new-mexico-news/judge-rules-cadaver-dog-evidence-to-be-allowed-in-redwine-murder-case/5427302/

I have no idea about the bulk of the facts in this case, so I am not predicting the outcome.

I am interested in finding out more about the evidence.  And how the prosecution decides to use the dog alerts.  And how defence expert Mary Cablk chooses to refute this.

What is the group name for 16 cadaver dogs?  A posse?

Just to confirm sils opening post referring several times to cadaver odour and cadaver dogs....for those who havent noticed

Are the two dog handlers appearing for the prosecution in an upcoming trial in the McCann case?

Is Mary Cablk appearing for the defence in an upcoming trial in the McCann case?

You seem to be very fond of strawmen.

And that's before the REDWINE trial even starts!

Check your posts in this thread.  They are numerous, and I can only remember one of them being relevant to the Redwine case.

then your memory is failing you...there are 4 on the first two pages...and more after that
not only that on the first 2 pages there are 10 references to dogs by other posters not relating to the Redwine case

No your memory is not correct... Neither is your comprehension it seems. You accused me of only making one post re the Redwine case in this thread whereas I've made many more..there are 2 on this page
