I don't agree they've ruled tannerman as Totman for reasons I'll not divulge,Totman is named by the press not by OG.But we know that whoever it was saw nothing suspicious at that time in the exact same area,the timeline moved on.

I'm pretty sure I recall listening to Andy Redwood on a youtube clip say words to the effect they had pretty much ruled out 'Tannerman'.  I will go look for it.

They translated the files,ruled out three amigo's,made a few visits to Portugal,struggling now,any one? oh! bit of landscaping,done Titsmarsh proud with that.
The last update concluded they have no definitive evidence on whether the girl is alive or dead.

You misunderstood,they ruled tannerman out,but they never named him,it was the press.
So they never ruled tannerman out as Totman.

I think they refrained from mentioning him by name to protect his identity/cover off data protection.  It would seem to me to be unprofessional to name Dr Totman who was doing nothing other going about his lawful business.

Well we know the investigation commenced around Spring 2011.  We're now approaching autumn 2019 so well over 8 years and no charges and no MM.
