I asked you a direct question with no mention of Kate at all.  Perhaps you didn’t understand my question or perhaps you preferred not to answer it.  That’s fine.  The questions were completely and utterly pathetic IMO, and if I had been Kate I would have answered with a loud “f....ing tossers” after each and every one.
Maybe she was in her head.
I'll answer your question - I'd answer the questions. Why? Because I'd want to show those f***ing tossers they were barking up the wrong tree and I'd prove it.

Then I'd flip a table, stab the first one in the neck with a pen, smash the second one's head against the door, handcuff them together, steal their radios, walk calmly out the fire exit, hot wire a panda car, beat a hasty retreat to Gib and be in Tangier by sunrise, disguised as a Bedouin Goat Herder.

That would be a silly thing to do IMO as you’d probably be arrested and done for GBH and theft before you’d herded your first goat.
Actually on second thoughts, it is the PJ we’re talking about so you’d probably get away with it.

its not unfathomable to mee....and others it seems

You must exist on a parallel universe then imo.   There's only one reason a suspect refuses to cooperate with police when they are searching for their (suspects) missing child.

You obviously don't understand the psychology behind police questioning.

You do realise that the police start with simple questions in order to put the suspect at ease?

I agree with you on that one. IMO Maddie was beyond help by 10pm.

You see I do... And I've posted this before.
Had Kate answered the 48 there would have been another 48....then another... It's a simple process.
Kate did the right thing to stop the pj pulling this very old trick
