Sheila had also been prescribed Triludan, an antihistamine and Noctec, a sleeping pill. Both could have added sedative effects, so her symptoms pre-July may not have been caused solely by the Haldol. Cannabis is also a sedative, often used as a sleep aid.
Colin had invited her to his party on the Friday before she went to Essex because she was displaying 'those familiar long periods of becoming distant and vague again'. [Rainbows End] So that symptom wasn't new, he'd seen it before. Was that before previous breakdowns? He makes no mention of her having physical problems as she helped him to prepare food and clean his flat for the party.
This was all gone over just a week or so ago!
Sheila was NOT taking antihistamine as the hay fever season ended in spring.
Nor was she taking taking sleeping pills in July or August; nor prescribed them. The Haloperidol made her sleepy enough without any extra medication.
She hadn’t smoked Cannabis for at least five days before Jeremy killed her.
The post mortem toxicology reports PROVED what was in her system.
She had NO illegal drugs, except traces of Cannabis taken five days previously.
NO alcohol.
NO antihistamines.
NO herbal treatments, nothing.
Like I said, this was discussed just a week or so ago — have you forgotten?
She did spend all day Saturday at Colin’s with the boys and helped him prepare things for the party...Colin didn’t go into detail on how many sausage rolls she put on a plate or stuff like that, but he did say she was unable to make coffee as she spilled it due to her unsteady shaking hands. I suppose she did as much as she could, albeit slowly. That was very sweet of her IMO.
