From an old timeline

10.39pm Judy sends a text to Lukes phone, Right Toad, say goodnight toLuke. Thats you grounded for another week.
10.40pm Luke phones Judy to say he hasnt seen Jodi all night. Judy says she will call round Jodis friends. Luke returns to the house and tells his mother what Judy has said.
10.49pm Judy calls back to say Jodi is nowhere to be found, and she is calling the police. Luke says he will go up the path to look for Jodi, and if he doesnt find her, he will make his way to Judys house to decide what to do next. (This story was later changed to claim that Luke had agreed to meet the other members of the search party at the path.)

Luke returns to the house?
so Judy phoned around all her friends in like 9 minutes? and still Luke was supposed to go to the house not meet up with others so you kind of proved my point there thanks Nicholas.

jeez he was 14 so what if he had 10 girlfriends, nothing sinister about that, and why no pics of Luke in said parka if he always wore it? did no one have cameras back then or was he just unlucky that every photo taken didnt include the parka he allegedly always wore? ever thought these young girls couldve been scorned having found out they were being 2/3 timed? oh I forgot theyre only kids, not at all like Luke was.

I don't care how many girlfriends he had and I'm not saying it makes him a murderer, but they were arguing about something that day when Luke's "short fuse" took over.

This was interesting from Corrine

6th May 2010
‘Like all miscarriages of justice....the police make the time of death....when the suspect has no alibi.

And this

Luke was in the house between 5 and 5.30 ....eating his dinner. And here lies the problem they say we are lying.

should add to that.....I was also in the house eating my dinner as was Shane, albeit differnt rooms. Shane was in his bedroom , upstairs, I was outside and Luke was in the livingroom.

Much has been made of the family wanting to go back down the path Luke walked up. Why? They hadn't searched it yet. Why would the family walk to the path only to go back the way they came? I'm also unsure why Corinne says she has "no idea" how the Jones search party got there before Luke. They were closer to it. Why wouldn't they?
but Luke had, hed just walked it, he was obviously someone they had trusted with the 14 year old relative for the past 5 months or so, why would they choose to not believe him not, baring in mind this wasnt the first time she had failed go to home on time and that was the reason for being grounded in the past?

Were you - what were you thinking about Simon?

I was just reminiscing about everything that happened and the amount of time put into the case.
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

She probably realised she didn't actually have Jodi's friends numbers. Did your mum have your friends phone numbers when you were 14? Jodi's phone was broken at the time. Maybe decided she'd phone them when she met with Luke and obtained potential names/numbers. Sandra will try and find something sinister when there is usually always a simple explanation.

Well he obviously didn't do a very good job of it considering he walked a few meters past Jodi's body and was apparently none the wiser, nor was his tracker dog lol. He wasn't searching at all, what did Corinne say about a 14 year old boy being pulled by a German Shepherd? So turns out they were right not to trust his searching skills, innocent or guilty. Where else would the search party go at that point? Back down the street they came and back home?

I wonder how hard the police looked for the parka, or proof that it existed before the murder. With all the publicity the case is getting now there is still a possibility a pic could turn up from the back of a drawer somewhere, that would be enough proof for me.
I never believed the story of his mum burning the stuff in the burner but I always thought he could have dumped it in any bin on his way home, the bins were all emptied the following morning.

wasn't that the reason why he was going to her house, to give the numbers she didn't have? im not suggesting anything sinister just pointing out that time lines dont seem to add up and Luke was never supposed to meet them at the path which Nicholas confirmed. Why has Sandras name been meantioned? I see why theyre no people supporting luke on this forum, getting ambushed for daring to question things  8)><(

It's what I believe happened. I don't believe it was planned at all. I believe Luke lost it and the argument turned bad. Jodi tried to walk away from him and got knocked over the back of the head with something and there was a fight/struggle which Luke obviously won, and ended with Jodi being strangled. Luke would have had a knife on him anyway, according to everyone who knew him. I think his morbid curiosity took over when he found himself there with a lifeless body.

as i say it is theory despite what you believe, quite a bit of a detailed one at that. She fought for her life, it said so in the appeal transcript, why no marks on him, bruises, scrapes from branches, kick marks, bite marks, anything you would leave when fighting for your life?

so a witness could change their entire story to fit the evidence and the jury wouldn't even know about it, does the same apply to defence witnesses?

Now there’s a question. Shane was certainly asked about his first statement in court.
Brietta posted on 10/04/2022 “But whether or not that is the reason behind the delay I am certain that Brueckner's trial is going to take place.”

Let’s count the months, shall we?

people are asking me questions i cant possibly answer unless i was there. As soon as someone new comes on this site supporting Luke all these same questions theyve fired at sandra are fired at them, why? Not everyone knows or is in contact with her, so kind of does feel like an ambush
