Who would like to see both parties come together in one place? Over on Twitter we are receiving a lot of questions surrounding the case FOR #LukeMitchell.

It would make a ton of sense to allow all who oppose #MurderInASmallTown to be heard.

If I was you @John, I wouldn't set myself up for this.

They already have you pegged as a 'malevolent troll', so you wouldn't get a fair hearing.

This is two guys trying to get traffic for their podcast.

By all means, have a fair debate in a fair forum, but this wouldn't be it.

So, why did she name MK and RG?

(I'm no fan of RG, btw)

Also, when she was asked about LM pulling a knife on the young girl at the cadets, she said it's one person's word against another's - so:

TEENAGE GIRL: This guy had a knife at my throat - I was scared, and still am.

CRIMINOLOGIST: It's your word against his.

Classy.

The fact that this girl wasn’t called as a witness suggests to me that the prosecution had doubts about her credibility.

this was an innocent young girl that was attacked with a knife and you have no way of proving it didn’t happen so better to be empathetic and give the benefit of the doubt.

Get a grip faith. This young girl is hardly going to put her story out there just to get kudos points. The entire cadet force would know about it. Do you really think she would  put herself out there in the public domain if it wasn't true?

Faith believes everyone who is associated with any criminal case  is a hustler out to make a buck, they only come forward to sell stories to the tabloids, thst is their sole raison d’etre as far as Faithlilly is concerned, or at least that’s how it seems to me.

To be fair there are some folk who would sell their grannie for a quid but this would have been reported to the cadet leader, there's no way something like this would happen and it be kept quiet. It's not as if this was the first time he did something like it, wasn't there another reported attack on a 12-year-old too a few years earlier?

The fact that Sandra Lean chose to question this young girls integrity on a live podcast speaks volumes and does little to inhance her advocacy on behalf of Luke Mitchell.  Her credibility is completely gone imo.

its not clear if it was reported to cadet leader at time. according to kvn in news article, Grace Mcleans daily mail article 22nd January 2005, he never returned to cadets after that day (this was in may 1 to 2 month before the murder). if you believe this article then kvn and lm were in the hut alone. kvn says she told her parents of attack, and her dad told the police, as soon as she found out lm was victms boyfriend

'When he put the knife down I turned to face him and he said, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He tried to pretend it was a joke but my neck was red and I was genuinely scared. I was crying my eyes out.' Mitchell never returned to cadets after the attack. A month later he strangled 14-year- old Jodi and cut her throat.
