To answer if it is plausible or logical we need to know what time this alleged abduction took place.
No we don’t, you just need to explain why it is neither plausible nor logical that Madeleine was abducted.

Why would anyone want a child to be dead? That's ridiculous. The reality is that whatever happened that night it's sadly highly unlikely that she survived it. What people want has nothing to do with it. Wolters told it like it is - the abduction that some people are so desperate to believe in would not have had a happy ending in his opinion.
All I’m desperate for is for you to explain exactly why you’re so desperate to convince us that abduction is neither plausible nor logical.  Can you?

I see.  Those of us that hope Madeleine is alive are desperate.  What a very odd conclusion.

It's odd, in my opinion, to insist that a child was abducted by a stranger, and then to suggest that this stranger's motive was benign. That would be so rare as to be almost unbelievable. That's hoping against hope imo.

That's my point.  I simply don't understand it.  What difference would it make to anyone other than Kate and Gerry if Madeleine is dead?

It has happened.  That cannot be denied.

It’s clear to me that despite making the claim, G-Unit is unable to explain exactly  how she arrived at her conclusion.  Point proved and now time to move on to the next subject.

It's all in the mind of those who wish it to be true that Madeleine is dead.  Heaven alone knows why.

PS.  What next subject?  Everything has just about been done to death.

God knows how long The ECHR are going to take, although that won't prove anything.

And Wolters is in no hurry.

Do you include Wolters in the hoping she's dead , he's putting in career on it being true.

Not my problem.  He can think what he likes, as can the rest of you.

Meanwhile, are you one of the people who hopes that Madeleine is dead?

Yes, and if he suceeds in his aims the matter will surely be closed. It would be most strange for Operation Grange to continue to investigate the disappearance of Madeleine McCann if someone had been convicted of murdering her.

Yes, I hope she's dead.

Obviously that's not an issue for you because like you said, we can think what we like.

I don't see a problem with saying it, but I'm surprised the McCanns haven't taken issue with Wolters damaging the search for Madeleine like they did with Amaral.

And no longer trying to stitch up The McCanns.  Which is what it is really all about.

I shall, of course go on hoping.

It isn't, and never has been, about 'trying to stitch up the McCanns' for me. It's about finding out what happened to a child who disappeared fourteen years ago by looking at the evidence without any preconceptions.

The evidence given by the McCanns and their friends raises questions, but they're not the only ones whose evidence does that. As far as I know none of those whose statements suggested that the alarm was raised before 10pm were reinterviewed, not even the receptionist who claimed he called the police before 10pm. The tennis coach said that the evening tennis activity on 3rd May ended at 19:00, but it was alleged he played until at least 19:30. This was never confirmed.
