Seriously I wasn’t being patronising when I said you should read the forensic science journals. There’s so many variables as to predicting time of death, the production of cadaverine and when that might be alerted to by a trained dog. The bottom line - if you don’t want to debate at that level (and I’m no expert….Dave however has a good understanding) is that a dog alert is not evidence or proof. It is an indication that there is a strong chance evidence of the deceased may be found in areas where a cadaver dog and a blood dog have both alerted.

An alert is not strong evidence. If they were then there definitely was a cadaver in 5a and the McCanns are guilty..

Why are you denying something which no-one claimed was true? Billy said "a dog alert is not evidence or proof. It is an indication". Do you have an answer to his actual claim?

I would much prefer for John or Admin to do this.

I do not countenance Moderators deleting the comments of other Moderators.  This could start a very nasty precedent.
