That's the message I'm trying to get across to you. You don't know why Grime called Eddie back at times, so can't speculate about what it means, because you have insufficient evidence. Do you now understand how to assess evidence?
Eddie was a reliable dog according to his fieldwork record and his training on human cadaver scent in the US. In 2018 Grime was recommending such training for all UK human remains detection dogs.
Probably because of the sensitivity of the work little is known regarding those occasions when cadaver dogs actually do find a cadaver.
Training is different - and you have raised the question of Eddie's training in the USA for which I have seen no independent evidence. Where can I have sight of your source.
I know that Grime worked with Morse in the USA and the evidence is he was an outstanding dog in training which is backed up by the evidence of the peer review of his training as demanded by the court system.
What can you tell me about Eddie?
