It is not new information. It is an archive retained when the site was recently updated in 2022. The public appeal for information was initially requested by the BKA in 2020 in a television crime programme and was reported wprd for word in the German press at the time.

Have you really not grasped that what you mistakenly think is the 2022 appeal is actually the archived appeal broadcast on the BKA website in 2020.

Bild did not have a crystal ball in their possession when they printed the appeal on 4 June 2020.

In the absence of evidence to the contrary there was and is every reason to hope that a missing person may be found alive.
