So if a child disappears from a town the whole town needs to be eliminated?

Such a process has worked in the past "Mass DNA collection drives, as needle-in-a-haystack as they might sound, have yielded results in criminal investigations in England and Germany. Six years ago in Germany, for example, authorities investigating the rape and murder of an 11-year-old girl collected DNA samples from 16,400 men, a sweep believed to be the largest to date. DNA from one man matched the evidence, prompting him to confess his guilt."

And who knows if it will ever be used again in the future.  But there are many more elimination processes which remain valid for the purposes of ruling individuals in or out of criminal investigations.

Such as the other investigative methods which have resulted in evidence being found which has led to Brueckner becoming the prime suspect in Madeleine McCann's case.
For me, until he is eliminated by further evidence - that is pretty compelling.  Certainly more so than the unfounded and disproved nonsense you prefer to nurture.
"In Baton Rouge, La., in 2003, authorities trying to find a serial killer took swabs from 1,200 white men who drove white pickup trucks, but the dragnet did not yield a suspect; a black man was later arrested using other investigative methods."

"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

The 'investigative method' that resulted in 'evidence' being found against the new prime suspect was nothing more than one crook grassing up another.
The 'evidence' you find compelling is limited to Brueckner joking to his mates that he murdered Maddie & destroyed the evidence. If you're thinking the police have anything more than this then you're going to be rather disappointed I'm afraid. You'll find you'll be waiting until the end of infinity for Brueckner to ever be charged with anything relating to Madeleine"s dissappeance.

If you really believe all of that, you are truly more limited than I thought you are.

Well it's up to Wolters to prove me wrong isn't it.
How's he getting on with that?

The troll thinks he knows better than the authorities exactly what's what.  He also believes he is able to predict the future with 100% confidence.  And he has the cheek to call us delusional.

Well, the troll predicted over 2 years ago that the new prime suspect wouldn't be charged with anything relating to Madeleine’s disappearance, and here we are, no charges in sight for Brueckner. None in the foreseeable future. Maybe I'm psychic, or maybe it's just that supporters aren't all that sharp.

Or anywhere near as emotionally damaged as you are.

Relying on Brueckner being charged is akin to relying on Madeleine being found alive and well cared for. In both cases hope is triumphing over common sense. All in my opinion.

You have set up a completely false premise, that anyone here is relying on CB being charged.  I’m not relying on anything, I simply take at face value what the Germans have said on the matter.  Either they are telling the truth and they have strong evidence that CB is involved in Madeleine’s disappearance and death, or they are liars and/or completely stupid.  Common sense dictates that the former is more likely than the latter scenario, IMO.  Perhaps you would like to explain why you think it’s more likely that the German authorities are lying to us and/or are completely stupid.

They were lying. They tried to get Brueckner to confess or get his alibi. They got neither. So Brueckner wins.

Which Germans? The only one I've heard talking about strong/concrete evidence is Wolters.

Sorry, I was under the impression he was German and represented the prosecution office in Braunschwieg?  Am I mistaken?  Do you actually believe he works completely alone and makes stuff up on a whim just to troll CB and the world’s media?

He's the only German whose thoughts are on record.

I was trying to come up with some quip about German Records. I failed & couldn't think of anything funny to say, but here's "Das Model by Kraftwerk" anyway, enjoy.
