Nothing akward in pointing out that there was nothing to see in their own apartments as their shutters were DOWN, ie NOTHING to see
Goodnight

But they could have seen comings and goings, maybe.

BTW, where did you find that all the shutters were down?  I dont recall ever seeing that.

Nigh night.

Here is another view of what was originally known as the tapas bar and the restaurant.

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

That is a brilliant photograph, John.  It gives a far better feeling of sizes and space.  Maybe Heri and Registrar will confirm just how close and compact that area is, when you are there.  Very well designed by architect, Crosland, I expect.

The main Tapas bar and restaurant is in the right forground.  The outside tapas restaurant is behind those plastic windows (the ones with bold white frames) in the middle of the picture.

The Mccanns sat behind the closer white framed plastic window.

Many photos on the internet are shown from the main Tapas  and are misleading.  Even the ones yesterday were mainly taken from between the main restaurant and the outside tapas.

The white low building, to the left of the photo is the Tapas reception.  Everyone entering or leaving the Tapas area had to pass thru this building to the street beyond.  From the left of this building to the gate of 5A measures 15 metres on GE

The ocean is much farther away than it appears.  At its closest point it is 440 yards away ( a little over 400 metres for our PT and continental friends).
