Constantly the McCanns are accused of lying, yet when Kate the mother of an abducted child writes with honesty and openness that's pulled apart too. To me it was from inside the mind of a mother in pain, who had these terrible thoughts in her head.

Mrs.McCann isn't stupid, she must know that the horrendous thoughts crossing her mind, could well be happening. Damned if they don't and damned if they do.

Mrs.McCann isn't stupid, she must know that the horrendous thoughts crossing her mind, could well be happening. Damned if they don't and damned if they do.

Nothing that The Mccanns do is right in the eyes of some.  As you say damned if they dont and damned if they do.

As a lady doctor with gentle demeanour, she may well have been given the rape cases to assess and treat.  Possibly including child rape.  She would know exactly what happens on occasions

Amarals apparent lurid paranoid mind is far less disturbing to me than Kate & her thoughts of paedophiles tearing her daughters genitalia, & imagining her lying cold on the mortuary slab.

She was a doctor. I don't find it particularly surprising that she had those kind of thoughts. I am a little surprised that she spelled them out so graphically in a book she wrote for her twins and possibly Madeleine herself.

To actually picture that specific stuff in your mind & to then keep having them same thoughts? Very sick mind.
Not every parent would think like that, in specific detail, no.

So what do you think a parent who thought their child was in the hands of a paedaphile would be imagining then? They are sexual predators - vile monsters who have taken a child for one reason and one reason only.   How can the implications of that not enter the parents' minds at some stage.     

Unless a person has been there themselves - how can anyone purport to know more about the horrific thoughts of a mother who is actually going through that worst of all nightmares - than the mother herself.

Its the paedaphile who is sick in the mind - not the parents.

An abductor had taken Kate's child,  she was in torment of what she was imagining her child was going through.  Of course these thoughts would enter the mother of a child who the parent thought had been abducted.   

Kate chose to tell in her book the thoughts [probably not all]  that were going through her mind.   If you think that is odd then you really cannot understand what this mother was going through and god forbid never will.

No,  I don't know if Madeleine is in the hands of  a Paedophile gang.   It is only a possibility.

You stick to your scenario,  it's is wrong as SY has said the McCann's are in no way involved in the disappearance of Madeleine.

Well can you use your logic and explain how the McCanns without a car, and with no knowledge of the area or friends living in PdL managed to hide their daughter's body in a place where the biggest search in the history of Portugal couldn't find it.   And then after finding this unfindable place, how did they manage  to move it again in the full glare of the worlds press to another place  - and why would they want to anyway when they had already found the perfect place?   Where's the logic in any of that?

OK, I'll have a go,

1) Give body to someone else to hide temporarily, in a house which won't be getting searched,
2) Hire a car,
3) Get a relative or friend* to take the body from the house, hidden of course & move the body to somewhere outside the search radius.
*Whilst were told the McCann's had no friends or relatives in de luz, we can't rule out the possibility that one of their group of 7 friends did.
