he said he did not get a good look at his face...his 60 to 80%   statement is his totally useless opinion

Got a good enough look to create an efit for PIs and for SY to use

And his opinion was not based in his face...sigh

And?

just goes to up the support for the argument that they had no idea  private police statements would be splashed over the net very soon in totality for all to see

He did, he said he was 60-80% sure it was him ergo identifying him...??? That's all

Ps and his wife agreed with him although other family members didn't on the x y z of whatever was under discussion

Yes, he did say 60-80% sure. That's not the same as identifying him, though.

Was he asked to rate his certainty according to percentages or was that spontaneous? We don't know.

In a quote further up, his wife agreed about that the stature resembled Gerry's. Hard to tell if she thought anything more than that. And the kids didn't think it was him, as you said.

A clip I have seen before on the Internet. In relation to the video clips of Gerard McCann and the person I saw on 3rd May 2007 when I saw the BBC news at 10 PM on 9th September 2007 something struck me that it could have been the same person. It was the way Gerard McCann turned his head down which was similar to what the individual did on 3rd May 2007 when we met him. It may have been the way he was carrying the child either. I would be 60-80% sure that it was Gerard McCann that I met that night carrying a child. I am basing that on his mannerism in the way he carried the child off the plane. After seeing the BBC news at 10 PM, footage on the 9th September 2007 I contacted Leicestershire police with this information. During that time I spoke to all my family members who were with me on the night of 3rd May 2007 about this and the only one who felt the same way as me was my wife. She had seen the video clip of Gerard McCann walking down the stairs of the plane earlier that day. We did not discuss this until some days later.

I have and have read nothing at all which proves he was...zero, nada, zilch.....end of...you're on your own now

it's not as if lots of people are agreeing with you or producing evidence is it? I don't have an axe to grind here....your argument merely is floozy that's all

There are a few sources which confirm his wife agreed with him, anyhow, ask the guardia for details  to whom he reported his memory which shook him (which misty thinks was coaxed)

Ps identifying someone is not always 100 per cent...police line ups....the witnesses are sure, pretty sure, not sure but thnk it was number 4, all are classed as identifying

If you were waiting to be picked up by your husband...and when the car arrived you were 60 to 80 % sure it was him...would you get in the car

Bad example, people do get into stranger's cars assuming it is someone they are expecting.
