Good morning CPN, it's very simple, Calpol can be referred to as a sedative as per the Oxford English dictionary definition of the word sedative (we've had a pharmacist confirm that it calms pain) HOWEVER it doesn't cause drowsiness or induce sleep.
LOL, 21 pages woo hoo. And Maddy is still......................................
M.I.S.S.I.N.G .... now aint that the truth.
You go Pat I love your posts.
I would have thought to get a child to sleep deeply you would need to use something other then Calpol. There are things on the market you can even buy without prescription that will make children sleep.
Just because someone showed the police a bottle of Calpol doesnt mean they didnt have other meds to hand.
The fact the children were SOUND asleep when they were the night before WIDE AWAKE and crying makes me wonder sometimes. Were ALL the children chlorformed by the Perb....who knows...no tests were done on the surviving 2 children to ensure they were safe.
But perhaps they were just exhausted from crying for over 1.5 for their parents....the night before.

So should we do poll lol. Is Calpol a sedative.....
The only reason why this thread is in existance is because Amaral mentioned it in his book, naughty man lol.
