Are you sure about that? Doesn't the CPS consider "public interest" before deciding on prosecution?

Yes, it does.

So this is an example of clutching at any AVAILABLE STRAW .

No - it is evidence that nurseries/creches are not immune from paedaphiles.  That is the evidence you were asking for isn't it?
The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

I don't know of one child in the uk being harmed having been left home alone for a short..or even long...period...
several sexual assaults in nurseries..by childminders and of course fatal accidents

Your saying "I don't know of......" is hardly a definitive statement.
I was rather hoping you would share with the forum some reliable data rather than just your opinion.

More than three hours.  And not the first time she had been called to account.

Interesting about the phone pings.  She was outside, and not where she said she was.

Are we changing the goalposts then ?

So how quickly do you think it would take for a fire to kill a child ?

So if a fire had started at the front of apartment 5a, an electrical fault say, how long do you think it would have been before the flames spread to where the McCanns and their friends could see them and how likely do you think it would have been that the children could have been saved at that point ?

She was charged with Neglect, and was miles away from home for more than three hours.
